I just bought this Science/Industry charachter. He's almost 38Mil SP not quite though. Anywho I don't know how to utilize him. Here is his skill sheet:

Skillsheet

I bought him for a ton of ISK. But it was worth it or atleast it will be... hopefully. :). Is there anyone who will help a complete noob? I've read the guides but I don't know how that applies to this particular charachter. Honestly whatever you guys suggest on how to make ISK for this guy would be very helpful and much appretiated.

I actually only started playing EVE about a week ago. So yeah. And yes to answer this particular forseen question, I know eve isn't all about making ISK cause that sucks out all of the fun. But there is nothing wrong with wanting to learn how to best utilize this charachter right?

Again thanks for your help

How did you buy a char like this after only a week or two of playing? I'm guessing you bought a bunch of PLEX. However crazy a choice it seems to me you are stuck with it now, unless you decide to sell him again.

As for making money with him, he seems to be a pretty good all around industry character. First thing you need to do is start taking advantage of his PI and research skills. Unfortunately your standings suck, so you aren't going to be able to farm data cores for a good while.

Your other options are to begin a career in any of the industry fields. Mining, production, trading (you do have freighter and JF skills). Good luck, hope you can make use of him

Er build ammo dude Laughing

Thats what 99% of newbs do when they start S'n'I Cool

Ya wannna get ya planet PI stuff on the go, start with making some isk that way.

Ya got basic invention skills mainly at level 3 and some at 2 these need to go up to lvl 4 if ya serious about it !

Find some cheap bpc's & invent at some npc station with spare slots.

In the long run you may wish to get a pos or even purchase a pre made corp with pos already anchored and even add some bpo's to your asset list for making copys and so on Very Happy

Oh i forgot ya had some trade skills... learn the ways of the market Twisted Evil

If you evemail me in game, I have need for a character with your skill spread. I might even be able to teach you a thing or two.

The toon looks good.

Going by the character sheet I would call this a nullsec miner with sidelines as a T2 module builder, JF pilot and (limited) trader. Strictly industrial in other words. I imagine the seller had this toon around as a money making/helper alt.

You really ought to take this toon further down the industrial side. Bringing some (all) of the T2 science skills to 4 would give you a nice invention/builder toon to invent/build modules/ammo for profit with. The POS planting skills are high enough that you could use the toon to run a moongoo production pipeline (end-game stuff) and the PI skills are high enough right now to make a decent amount of change there to fund things like an invention/production POS.

If you were looking for a missioner/PVP toon though, you bought the wrong toon. Especially as you bought this toon so early.

Look into setting up a second toon, on the same or a new account, and train that one for the shooty side of things while keeping this one to explore the industrial side and provide ISK.

You need ISK to make ISK when it comes to Industry.

Start small with ammo, so you get the chance to learn the market. This way if you make a mistake, your mistake doesn't hurt you that much.
