I'm suggesting a new size container :
something that would be a jump above the
"Giant Secure Container" which has:
volume of 3000 m3 and a cargo capacity of 3900 m3, signature radius 1500, HP 500,000

the new container could be called "Colossal Secure Container"
and would have :
Volume 9000 m3 and a cargo capacity of 12000 m3, signature radius of 4500, HP 2,000,000

the new container is around 3x larger than the current big available anchorable container.
it would have all the anchorable requirements as the above one.

i believe it would have good advantages as it would result in less anchored objects in a system, making it easier for you and the server ... provided you could haul a container with 9000 m3, but if you can, better for you.

care to elaborate any reason for you're opinion ?

I'm ok with it as long as it only last 20 minutes in space before self destructing.

you can do that to you're ship, just right click and hit self destruct.
you cannot fly an anchorage container. Razz

The problem is: where does it stop?

Why not make a 90k container that hold 120k? or other 3:4 ratio numbers.

You might say a 90k m3 container is absurd, but freighters would love it.

Also, if containers get big enough, you will kill a whole career path. With ur 12k containers, you can anchor just 2 and equal the m/3 of a jetcan. If you do this, your can cannot be "flipped". Pirates would be very sad if they couldn't can flip anymore.

Obviously the miners would be happier, but why is their happiness more important than the pirates? (I'm not picking any sides.)

there's already a "General Freight Container " which freighters love 120.000 m3 however it has several usage restrictions wich has nothing to do with this.

9,000 m3 seems to be around the maximum reasonable capacity a hauler could carry, for either a pilot with noob skills or a skilled pilot in a warpy cloacky hauler.

thank you for pointing out some reasons for you're opinion
