Hi all,

any chance of some advice on rifter loadouts for PvE (ratting generally), with some occasional PvP?

3 x 150's II (pve on named...would not pvp till you can fit t2...you need the weapons spec bonuses to work well)
1 X named rocket laucher (pve) OR 1 nos/neut (pvp)

1 web (for both fits)
1 named ab (cold arc jet...even if you cna t2 fit...named usually loved all the same)
1 cap recharger (pve) OR scram (good named one t2 if able)

1 SAR (t2 if able or best named...if some spare money, coreli c-type a "cheap" ds one)
1 200mm rolled tungsten (even if you can t2 fit...you fit rolled tungsten, look at stats will see wny)
1 DCU (your resists)

Rigs: (these work for both...for me anyway)
1 burst (damage)
2 X ambit (falloff)

all pvp mods I said....this is your vanilla rifter.

Reasons for fit:

the 150s are a middle ground between tracking and damage. 125's will have better tracking, less falloff and damage. 200's will have more falloff and damage...but has tracking issues. Fit guns to what you want if you don't like the 150's

The nos neut will cap out your target. NOS will help power your SAR

the mids..cap recharge powers the SAR in pve. drop if for the scram in pvp.

the lows...
your tank, want to go less tank, more gank....drop a gyro in instead of the DCU

The rigs I chose will leave your explosive hole open. BUt....gives you better dps and falloff (I call it tanking by killing off hostile dps better lol). Care that much about your explosive hole...pick a rig and swap it out with the explosive resist one.

If you have a web, 200mm's work just fine. The rifter has a solid bonus to tracking. The added range helps too, and this way you can drop one of the ambit for, say, an anti-expl rig.
