Slot layout conversion rigs

Low-mid, Low-high
mid-low, mid-high
high-mid, high-low

not giving you extra turrets or launcher hardpoints but think of the possibilities of setups???
Want that armageddon to have 6 mids? lose a high and 2 lows 7,6,6??
want to switch your tempest low/mids round go for 8,6,5?

Or how about a rig for 200 points that gives you an extra turret/launcher??

Here's an idea I would love to see for ships.

Instead of having fixed numbers of launcher/turret spaces, you add a hardpoint module.

The harpoint will be of three kinds:


Turret hardpoints fit only turrets.
Launcher hardpoints fit only launchers.
Utility hardpoints fit utility modules (such as cloaks, neuts, etc).

Then you can truly configure your ship the way you want it.

If you want a typhoon with 8 turret slots or 8 missile slots, or any combination there of, go for it.

Naglfar with 4 turrets instead of 2 and 2? Sure, why not.

There would have to be a benefit to fitting utility slots - some kind of lower fitting cost. Maybe each ship has a max number of hardpoints and utility slots do not count against that number (much like today).
