Ever wonder what it might be like to get back at all those scammers in Jita 4-4 Caldari Navy Assembly? Perhaps CCP could add in a small-arms add-on for players to eventually use in-game against those people if they were to add an open-area market and trading area. Put that FUTURE VISION video to good use and give the players weapons to kill each other with, especially if people are simply stealing from people and not playing the game, simply sitting in a station and driving people out of the game by cheating stealing and every other bad thing that they can do to trick people out of their isk and items. A good realistic way for in-game station trading to be dealt out. Shoot somebody in the back as they walk away after cutting you out of a deal that was agreed upon and then maybe take back your items and/or isk like you would if you blew up their ship, or they yours.

This would also bring back a lot of the newbies who got upset and left because of **** like this happening to them beforehand, so that they can get revenge.

Since I don't plan to ever leave my captain's quarters unless CCP somehow forces me to do so, I welcome this new way for the asshats of the game to gank and grief their victims.

Also, I believe Yoda would say: "Much anger I sense in this one, yes."

Eh, I've been cheated out of $70 before in a single trade window, and if you wanted to trade, you'd have to come out to where those people would have a clear shot at you. That is what I am suggesting.

People like you would have to come out of your 'safety holes' to trade, which would severely limit your ability to cheat as you'd be 'pop'd' before you could run back to your hole with someone's hard-earned items after cheating them out of the isk you owe them. It's simply something that's unacceptable and needs fixing. Particularly if you plan on having children. Would you prefer people threaten you in-game by saying "I'm coming over to your house to beat the **** out of you" or "If you cheat me, I'm going to kill you here and now and take back my items legally with CONCORD cameras watching me here in this public trade center" ?

These are simply things you MUST bring into context especially when so many people are cheated in Amarr, Dodixie, Hek and Jita. To say... get back the 1,500,000,000 isk worth in items back that I was cheated out would be awesome, as any newbie who's been cheated out of their faction or T2 ships when they thought they could find a fair buyer who'd openly trade with them... they would be really happy to get back at people like you, especially when they run their accounts off of PLEXes. Now this isn't all about revenge, it's also about FUTURE VISION and looking at stopping your kind.

Personally I hope to see Dust go PC and be fully integrated.

Using clones/doppelgangers/surrogates this would be playable.

I think the concern is that eve players will literally empty clips into each just because.

I'd like to see capsuleers be able to use disposable clones to have quate/counterstrike/etc matches against one another. Obviously now it's a whole different game, but I personally would love to see the world of eve expand beyond -just- spaceships.

In fact, just being able to dock up, open up a server browser on par with one of steams multiplayer FPS' and then just jump into a brawl would be JUST the thing between fleet fights.

Oh wait, that's pretty much what PL do with BC2 anyway. Rolling Eyes

This should work off the same principals that the aggress counter works off. You shouldn't be able to just openly shoot people anywhere you'd like unless your in unsecure space. That would just result in people not going into public areas as people are already too scared to even try PVP.

To combat the 15 minute aggress counter from space, when docked the aggress counter should be increased for interiors to a larger amount of time. This way someone cant just sit on his couch in his CQ and be safe.

tbh i like the idea cause it sounds fun but i hate your reason. Its part of eve without scams and cheats jita would be a boring place to be. Its your own stupid fault if u entertain these asshats. Plus if you are smart and they manage to con you fair play to them they must have been good at what they do. Alls fair in love and war. Keep ur friends close and ur enemies closer and all that...

Misplaced allegations much?

That aside, people like me won't be using CQ, or Incarna all that much since we're far more interested in playing Eve aka "Internet Spaceships", not ****ing Sims in Space.

Some of us like all aspects of Sci Fi ... considering most of us are sci fi fans.

I imagine there would be security and contraband scans.
I would imagine for instance there would be scanners upon docking, of your ship and cargo, in every entryway in a 1.0 station, supplemented by guards and automated stun guns.
This would probably be backed by a sec hit in that factions station.
Which could leave you quarantined to your captains quarters (everyone loves that already).

In a .5 there might be scanners just upon entering from the captains quarters, and fat rent a cops, with stun batons.
This could give a guy a chance to run in and stash a weapon before gettin a beatdown and waking back up in their captains quarters.

In low the scanners would be sporadic faulty broken Half the time and the police would be scarce,  you would still get a sec hit and could still get quarantined but the police would be beatable and the quarintine might not take effect until after the big bad piwate has undocked.

This sec status could be somthing fixable through missioning which I think would promote violence and missioning or it could be  exclusively time based.

Now even getting caught carrying an unauthorized pocket knife in a 1.0 would probably get you quarantined

In a .5 however you would probably be able to sneak in a weapon.  Respawn,  then go grab the weapon and use it before getting quarantined.

In low sec you could stay hold up in a bar having a shootout with the guards and anyone foolish enough to dock up to the same station you and your passé are hanging out in.  But enjoy it because you probably won't be back anytime soon.

In null there would possibly be no police only the station and it's Occupants.  So basically if your not in the group who is docked up you may want to stay in your quarters.

People might say "what's to keep people from just making more alts and abusing the system?" well just make there be a self defense skill set.
Make them extremely long winded.
Make the first two only trainable in succession, so to get to offense one would first need to train defense to lvl 5 which could have the dreaded 12x multiplier and offense could have a 16x etc.
This would suck valuable training time away from some ones main and would make trial accounts impossible to station gank with.

Meaning there would probably only be one character per account who could put up their dukes and would also foster different fighting styles and with heavy penalties it would be best to do it in null and low than in high sec.  I'm not saying that it would be impossible to gank and rob somone of their monocle in jita,   I'm just saying it would be impossible to do it twice in one month.
Or however long ccp decided upon.
I know it's taken me about 3 weeks this time to crawl back up from a -6 ratting in null so I'm guessing somthing similar could work.
As long as you could still access the market from solitary confinement.

Some new items I could see showing up in the market would be shielded cargo.  Scan jammers lock code breakers etc.

To make station walking preferable they could make agents give better missions if you meet them in a bar, or get them to give better standing if you get them sauced in a bar etc.

I'm pretty sure the first week of this would be a bloodbath but after everyone got slapped with the concecuences,  violent types would head for lower sec.

And care bears could roam freely around high sec stations with only the occasional jack the ripper incident.
