Faction spawns should be no problem. Could take a while to actually pop 'em but surely not a problem to survive per se. I would not dare taking on an officer with my Pilgrim. Altho that's still funny.. I guess it largely depends on which officer and your fit.
Alright. Story time. For SCIENCE!
I have battled and died to Cormack Vaaja in my old Apoc. He flies a huber blasterthron. Never saw that one coming. I landed 55 km away. Loaded Scorch and engaged with extreme prejudice. He responded in kind, rushing to me at 1,100 m/s or so. Soon enough, he's within 10 km, dropped a web and started pounding an intimidating amount of hurt. I had no hope to survive this guy alone. That much was obvious, that quickly. Meanwhile, his two pretentious 1.8 mil buddies did not even bother yellow boxing me... just watching like kittens learning how to hunt from mom. He pumped ~6,600 raw damage into my poor Apoc per volley so even with the fully overloaded tank mods I asploded in no time flat. I soaked maybe 6 volleys, if that, while his own armour barely dropped below 80%.
I declare it's presence in alliance chat. A tengu and a falcon pilot arrived within 2 minutes but Cormack was not in the same belt anymore. They looked for him in other belts while I reshipped to my TD heavy Curse. 6 jumps round trip. The Tengu guy found him as I arrived back in system. Dropped wwwws in fleet, we all warp to him. He declared on coms that he'll have to warp out real soon so we better make it real quick. I am just halfway thru the warp at that point. (!) Thanks god ewar has an effect on him. Major tracking disruption along the falcon's ECM saved the tengu. It took a while to die, even with our combined DPS. Good some really spiffy loot, too.
Faction spawns? Surely not a problem
Officiers? Cormack can kick your butt real quick but tracking disruption do
work. Im not sure if it will be enough. I think it won't unless you have more than one TD equipped then it might.
I mention only Cormack 'cause it's the only one I know about. I would not take him on with my Pilgrim, tho.
