Yes, that again .. my quest to combine a rep boost with a nerf to buffers has floundered, too many people that are unnaturally attached to their FoTM fits
New idea: Attach it to the skills.
Armour skills: Capital Repair Systems and Repair Systems current have 5%/lvl duration modifier.
- Propose this is increased to 7.5%/lvl with an added 5%/lvl cap reduction.
Sub-capital Shield skills are more difficult as they appear to be designed to cater to buffer paradigm
Capital Shield Operation currently has 2%/lvl cap reduction.
- Propose this is increased to 3%/lvl with an added 2%/lvl duration modifier.
Shield Operation currently augments recharge time while being the requisite skill for booster (go figure).
- Propose the addition of a 5%/lvl cap reduction when boosting to current skill.
Armour repairers could do with an overall 25% (or there about) reduction in cycle duration.
Result: Better active repair options while being just as (or more) cap heavy. Should make it viable in small (read <10) skirmishes.
