HULK

So being a Hulk fan I have read up on everything about the barges and one thing I cannot seem to find is what is a hulk as close to reality as possible.

They show me the armor details max speed, shields etc...

crew capacity is never mentioned let alone what is inside an actual hulk.
which is presently what I want to know.

Are we really to believe that one person can pilot a mining barge without any crews and bathrooms?

This also brings up another questions that CQ kinda hints at.

Will we be able to have a cockpit view or a 3rd person view within a ship as it travels across the galaxy?
these are only a but a few questions that I would like to throw out there, add more or argue for one instead of the other, IDC as long as the OP gets answered.

what does a Hulk mining barge look like inside and how many people would have to be inside of one to keep in running if it were a real vessel.

Precisely how many crew the Hulk has is not listed anywhere but I'd guess at around 60, giving you a 20 man watch.
ORE's original design probably looks at about double that, with a stronger engineering crew and of course a bridge crew replacing the capsule.
Heads and so forth would be set up to suit that (which of course means that a capsuleer's Hulk will be oversupplied with such utilities).

What it looks like inside? probably dusty...
It is an industrial facility processing rock after all.

As confirmation that capsule fitted ships do have crews, Linkage.

lies. if I had a crew, one of them would surely be assigned to pressing the d-scan button for me.

Evemon, among other sites and programs, can see some of the database entries that aren't actually used in game but are available nonetheless. Among those entries, is a stat on each ship for "max passengers". For the Covetor and Hulk both, it shows 20. So there's your crew, for what its worth.

And as you can see, the crew means so very little to a pod pilot... we really don't need to try and define crew, despite how often it's talked about on these forums.

All it would lead to, is another form of Rigging. Something you plug into your fitting, to min/max your ship some more.
