It is totally rubbish that I can't help members of my fleet / team except with RR and that feels like cheating somehow.

They can shoot me as soon as they shoot my fleet and vice versa

Make it war declared targets only if you like. So that people can go in with their eyes open. This fleeting is a sort of deputation. Make a toggle maybe for when you join the fleet "yes" to PvP

this totally wouldn't be used in conjunction with out of corp/alliance alts to hide DPS ships during a wardec

no sir, not at all

This would pull the out of corp / alliance people in the enemy fleet into agg before you engage too deeply. Fly up with fast ship, take a shot at one of them and the whole fleet, DPS, RR, they all light up red. Then you can get the heck out of there if you want to.

Can turn out of fleet RRing off too while you are at it.

Sounds like you are planning new way to grief people, some of your ideas has been in game but those have been taken away because those wardec guys were still more clever than carebears and caused more tears than now.

Well, I would personally like to see an option to get a warning if you try to shoot at people in the fleet you are currently in.

I've had multiple times that I actually fired upon the target I was trying to rep... and once, I actually destroyed a Cyno alt because of it... (Sorry ralara!)

Then again, it's a part of EVE and I should take more care on what I've got selected when I'm cycling my guns, so in the end it's my own fault, but you know...

id like all people in enemy fleet show up as wartargets even if they are out of the target corp but in their fleet.
both in local listing and in overview straight away.
it would clear up many situations.

also all people in fleet with pirates who are -5 or worse should also be shootable as they are actively consorting with criminals.
and ofc visible as targets if in fleet with the criminals.

Umm ... this wasn't about shooting members of your own fleet.

It was more about how fleets and kill right flags work.

Remote repairs should be disabled from outside of the fleet and shooting one of a WT's fleet would light up all the others in that fleet.

Works both ways. The two fleets engage and all can shoot at all.

Sort of an - opt in for joining someone else's war as a personal choice instead of involving your whole corp and or alliance.

Then high sec wars become about who has more friends reguardless of if they want to leave corp to come help you fight the war...

Sorry, bad idea totally abusive and if you recall back to the start of eve (Which I doubt you can cause you suggested this) eve was already kind of like that, and it was horrible... war decs were just dumb. I understand your frustration, but its a war, its none of your business... its about conflict between two corporations. Nuet RRing is IMHO an exploit, and should be nerfed some how before we change the war mechanics.

You should have been around before wars, lol... it was brutal if you had you wouldnt want this I promise!

It used to work this way ages ago.
It was removed because people where using it to grief mission runners.

Simply:
1. fleet someone to help them with a mission, incursion, mining, etc
2. invite your alt that's at war with someone to the same fleet (there used to be a warning, when you were inviting a person at war into your fleet, hence why it needs to be you inviting the alt, not the mission runner himself)
3. let the war target of your alt kill the unsuspecting mission runner
4. ...
5. Profit

There's even a story of one guy that made billions (back when this was a fortune) in a week doing just that.

Okay. How about they give you an option that goes like this, "Fleet Commander is in a war. Would you like to share their kill rights?" upon joining the fleet.

That way it is only the FC that affects the rights and then you appear as a WT to anyone else just as though you were a member of that corp. Also a cool down so you can't just leave fleet and then avoid being attacked if things get too rough.

Edit: It also means that if they change the FC, the people already in the fleet, don't change kill rights.
