1st i'm quite happy to know that my 14 years old is finally entering the world of EVE via Dust514 (I've tried with no success to introduce him to the spaceship version)
Having played with him some COD, i always find it quite frustrating, because above my natural lack of FPS skill i also need to handle wall hacks, aim bots and such from another players.
Thus i have a couple of questions to CCP about Dust514.
- Will the Dust514 have a EVE like client where any sensitive information is handle server side? (this will stop people from using aim bots to some degree)
- If Dust514 suffers heavily from cheats and being it interacting with EVE can we EVE players suffer hell because of this?
(i will add more questions when i remember, meanwhile ask yours)

The plan? Put it out there and see how it goes. No rollbacks or anything, so if SOV really gets ****ed up in the process, who cares, the whining on the forum is planned and "we will not listen to what ppl say but what ppl do"...
We know how this goes by now, don't we? |

- yes I believe so, I couldn't imagine the wouldn't but I doubt that info will be released any time soon. - Dust514 will be on the same server as EVE, I doubt cheating will be an issue with the PS3. There really aren't any cheaters on a PS3 to begin with, so I wouldn't worry about it. |
