To start of: I just reinstalled everything on the computer. Windows, Drivers, Eve klient and so on.

Alot of the sounds in eve get stuck in infinite loops.
For example:
Rat radio communications.
They should die out when the last rat blows up, but they can continue on for ever. Even after I dock in a station.

Another example:
Traktor beams. Their humming continue even after the wreckage has been salvaged and the can been collected.

If I zoom ALL they way out all sounds cut off, and then I can zoom back in. But this is clearly not how it was supposed to be.
Anyone have similar problems?
A quick fix maby?

I'm running a Creative SounbBlaster X-Fi Fatal1ty in Windows 7 Pro 64bit with SP1 and all other updates, latest drivers for all hardware, all settings on default, analog output to a 2.1 setup.
There are two other audio devices in the system, some "HD Audio device" and the ATI HDMI audio, but they are not connected or used in any way.

Noticed same yesterday. Was running 2 clients and the second one was playing deadspace warp gate humming sound entire night :/

I'm also running two clients, but the looping can come from either one.

The sound engine have been Eve's weak spot for ages. Maybe a rewrite is needed?
Would be nice to know if this happens to other hardware then Creatives.
