Hello I am new with the Passive/Active Tancking and have a question/problem about it.
I have 2170 shield HP and a passive shield recharge of 5 hp/s that mean i will have a shield recharge time of 434 sec. But under the shield HP i see is saying 921 sec
Where i have gone wrong? Why is so much? And in space after having a damage... I saw how slowly is recharging like 2-3 per sec not 5... Didn't have a stopwatch to exactly calculate.

Shield recharge isn't linear, it peaks at 25-30%. So the number you see is the average which isn't really that important. As long as the shield start to drop slower the closer it gets to 30% it will probably hang in there.

But why on the fitting page is writing 921 instead 434 how i calculated?

Shield and capacitor are the same really nasty looking formula.

I tend to ignore what the numbers are in the fitting window, and just use EFT, as it gives more meaningful numbers.

I have another question but about Manufacturing.
By manufacturing i make profit but small one... And i want more profit and for that i want to make Material Research. But all the post are full. There is another possibility to make Material Research?
P.S. I am also learning Production Efficiency.

Average recharge rate is 2170/921 ~= 2.36/second
Peak recharge rate is 2.5*2170/921 ~= 5.89/second (most likely displays as 5/second)

You have the following choices:
* wait in line for NPC ME research slots (queue the research up - yes, you can do that, you don't need a "free" slot) -> time consuming but cheap
* make a run for lowsec or even NPC 0.0 research slots in NPC stations there -> noticeably faster usually, but quite risky
* buy already-researched blueprint originals -> depends on what's available at the moment, can change from dirt-cheap to very expensive depending on luck
* just continuously buy blueprint copies when needed from contracts -> lower profit, but easiest to get into (low initial cost, negligible waiting times), the only drawback being prices are not very stable and availability is uncertain at times
* create a player corp and deploy a POS and a lab, then research at your own corp's mobile lab slots -> no wait time, bonus research speed, but expensive startup (either risky if in lowsec, or needing standings galore if in highsec) and constant running costs (fuel for the tower)
* hire a player research corp (which have their own labs) to research your blueprints and pay them a research fee -> a bit of waiting time but not very much, moderate to low cost, some small risk of scamming if you don't do some reputation research first
