6 mill to 100 mill from each player at each checkpoint? That will make someone rich.
Answering a riddle isn't a scavenger hunt.
A true scavenger hunt is various teams collecting random amounts of regular and obscure items on a list and placing them all in a specific area. For example: 6 x Scientist, 20,000 Units of Augumene
, 12 x Kruul's_DNA
, Graduation Certificate (Signed) 1 x Amarr
1 x Caldari
1 x Gallente
and 1 x Minmatar
, 4 x Device
, etc. There's a lot of random items to choose from listed in the Evelopedia Item_Database
. The list should be rather large with well over 100 different items on it, some in large quantities, which will take days to complete.
All items would be readily available in game. The list would be released to the contestants at the start of the contest. To get the items, the teams could either beg, borrow or steal them if needed. The first team to complete the list would win the contest. 2nd and 3rd place winners would be those with highest and next highest amount of items collected and placed in the specific area at the time the contest ends.
The specific area to deposit the items collected could be in a Orca Cargobay so that judges can keep track and all teams would each have a separate bay. The Orca could be sitting near a station in a specific system.
Each team could consist of 3 members fleeted with each team paying an entry fee. The amount would depend on the prizes available. There should be at least 6 to 12 different teams.
Anyway, that's what I think the Eve Scavenger Hunt should be.
