Did you experience any disconnects, complete freezes or crashes?
No disconnects or crashes, but some short freezes, but WAYS better then in one of the last mass tests I joined.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
The performance was really improved since I last participated.
The overview was completly messed up after a while, and some people appeard 6 or more times.
My drone window was gone, when I undocked from the station. It came back, when I jumped to the next system.
The target calling was sometimes not very clear to me.

Thanks for a great experience! :)

Did you experience any disconnects, complete freezes or crashes?

- Had a crash to desktop at the gatecamp after approx. 3 minutes fighting

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

- Was suprised that the jump-In to "Poitot" was very smooth, i actually could start targeting right away, except for the overview bug. The "Jump-Out" from X-BV98 on the other hand was the usual "traffic control - wait for 3 minutes and grab a cup of coffee" thing.

-I see here some same PC systems with totaly different results. There should be more question in this feedback:
-what part of the world do you live: (there have to be difference in ping if you live in australia or in europe)
-what type of connection you have: (optical have better ping, than adsl and way better than wifi hotspot)
Because some players with same system as mine (or better) had massive lag (3min or so) and i had max 10s lag (jumping, docking undocking) for example i live in Slovakia (EU) and have optical connection.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

Duplicated entries in overview
After first jump was getting up to 12 identical entries
Was told 12 mins for first jump, then it went after about two
Tried to dock - got "session change in progress" still same after two mins so warped to POS
Reloading all missiles, had to do it three times before all 7 launchers reloaded ( not grouped )
Firing on POS - no missile tracks, but was getting damage reports
Stopped shooting as requested and then client shut down and completely disappeared.
Relogged and jumped to fleet battle (X fleet)
Overview stayed blank - tried reloading different views, no difference
Aligned to distant object and once clear of bubble warped out. At start of warp overview came back.

Log files available if required.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) I could not tell, my biggest fleet was 20 people :P

Did you experience any disconnects, complete freezes or crashes? There was a Blackscreen at the undock, and a freeze whilst jumping into the system.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: I'd suggest the normal. The lag was awful, and made it really difficult to target the primary, secondary and tertiary. My overview would just stop working. Also, at P1, someone podded me. I jumped to the station, but my pod was facing another direction then the warp bubble. I recorded the whole test so I might get something up on youtube.

Hi! If you participated in the mass-test on the 9th August, please reply in this thread to give your feedback, based on following template:

Machine Info and Settings

  • OS version: Win7 64bit

  • CPU: AMD Athlon X4 645 3.1Ghz

  • GPU: Geforce GT 430

  • RAM: 4.0Gb

  • Were you running more than one EVE client? How many? 1

  • Graphic setting of the client (low / medium / high): High

User Experience

  • Average FPS during fight at the gate in Poitot, with brackets disabled - Zoomed out: 13

    • Zoomed in: 6

  • On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) -no comment-

  • Did you experience any disconnects, complete freezes or crashes? Image freezed after ship blew up and pod appeared. Next update few mins later when waking up in station.

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

  • - Graphics quality/detail level should scale down when fps drop (if possible)
    - There was really long (30 to 60 seconds) delay with black screen when undocking from station.
    - On start of the test, when we warped from system a to b, trafic control kicked in. Timer appeared saying that it would take 2 minutes and some seconds to be clear. Maybe 20-30 seconds passed and my ship jumped by itself regardless. When in other side, overview buggered and was showing every pilot multible (maybe 6-7) times. Docking to station fixed this.
    - While in big fleet, overview is updating rather slowly. I have an 'extra' column which shows ships velocity. I don't know how your updating priority is managed, but I could think that all "extra multimedia" apart from range, pilots name, ship and afflition could be ignored if que is full and updated later if possible.
    - My average fps on staging systems gate was 60 fully out, 6 fully in, 20-25 in "medium range what I usually use to look my ship from".

On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome): No basis for comparison, as I don't normally fight in fleets of that size. Was playable, though.

Did you experience any disconnects, complete freezes or crashes? None, the undocking black-screen felt like a freeze, but it was just taking a while to undock. No client restart was required.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

The duplicate overview bug was annoying, there were 4 of the primary. The module offlining thing also proved extremely annoying. I think ship-board fitting services were also broken, but that may have simply been the number of people piled together (the error I got was not concurrent user cap, however).

  • Worked well First sisi client started had better FPS thru out same ratio in CQ o out first one started 15 FPS second one 5 FPS . While the ship that got out side the buble was on the second client and got killed was clean graphicly the pod was able to warp off and died later station loaded clean. The ship a dom on the primary client was still inside the bubble was killed and podded, a clone email was sent but it took another min or two for the ship and pod to finaly die and for the staion to load. Multiple overview bugsLaughing. Good turn out. When I tryed to reload ammon during the pos shoot the icon grayed out and both clients froze 5 seconds later you called for a cease fire.

Haven't done a fleet fight of this magnitude on TQ, but this test seemed much better than prev tests. Response was quicker. The only problem I had was with the overview: slow to respond.
Of course, the response is much faster on TQ in my normal playing experience since I haven't done large fleet fights.

3-7 FPS at Poitot gate - both zoomed in and out (zoomed 1-2 fps higher)
5 - same

After un/dock ship lost all bonuses from pilot skills - CPU and cap - so I couldn't activate some of them even at full cap (not enough CPU)

There were no disconnects.

On undock there was black screen which I "fixed" by switching to desktop and back.

Average FPS during fight at the gate in Poitot, with brackets disabled -
Zoomed out: ~ 10

On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome)
Not observed

Did you experience any disconnects, complete freezes or crashes?
NONE

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

Bugs observed:
- multiple instances of same target on overview (up to ~10 duplicates, both on UNDOCK and JUMP)
- POS fight: Target lock on the tower dropped 3x (not sure if any ECM was involved, FPS was REALLY bad at that point)

Comments / suggestions:
- Mirroring TQ to SiSi shortly prior the test messed up a lot of things: Had everything perfectly set up / prepared for the mass test, just to find the mirror has removed it all :(
Ships, Overview settings, Custom shortcuts - all gone. Waah :'(
* Suggested solution: If possible, let players know in advance when the mirror will be created, so they can set up AFTER that.

- Allowing podkills during the masstest effectively removes the podded player from the test, imo.
The need to update a med clone and 'MassMoveMe' not working slows down / negates a quick re-join considerably.

- FPS performance seemed to be not-so-great.
Monitored system resources during these phases, CPU load was around 20%, RAM load around 50%. Apparently not a system issue on my end.

- Maybe remind Players what you are interested in for the test. CCP Habakuk mentioned the overview (multiple identical targets). Exactly like that, makes feedback easier imo.

- I really feel for you guys who ran the test.
Dealing with all those kids crying 'I want my alt to join this fleet', or starting non-test-related fights etc must plain SUCK :S

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: so many bugs from double people on overview all the time to triage being so bugged at one point no letting me lock more than 2 people and what is with not being able to fit the META 2 capital local reps.

Will attempt to log bug reports

Possible Triage problem down to application of skill points without log out and back in but still does not explain the 2 max target lock problem I encounterd after the mass test finished.
