What kind of usage/temperature are you getting with CQ installed?

I have an HD 6970 and sitting on the couch gives me about 60% activity and 65-70C.

Anyone having similar issues, or is this as good as it gets?

Yes, EVE can double as an highly inefficient space heater! Laughing

Don't worry about the temperature readout unless it reach in the 90s. Your rig is cooling down just fine. It's a powerful piece therefore it radiate a lot of heat. Moar power = more heat. There's no way around that, really.

Thanks for the reply.

Everything else I do it runs 10-15 cooler, but I know the Incarna graphics engine is a monster. I'll report back once I Crossfire this beast...

I just picked up a 6770 and 6870 recently and both run at about the same temp for Eve and other current titles. I've seen up to 98% usage on GPU-z while in the CQ with temps remaining steady in the upper 60s C. It's really nothing to worry about unless you're spiking up to around 90C.

yeah, i noticed that my 4650 was running harder in stations. EVE was one of those games that was made for nvidia and ati was left out now that incarna's out. no problems outside flying around, but i've had nothing but problems with textures in stations.
