If you people put the same effort you put in making these stupid images to buying a mid-level pc able to run the CQ you'd already have it.
Stop this nonesense.
With respect, I'm able to run CQ fine tyvm.
It's just that its so awful, I (like many others) choose to turn it off.
Ditto, I can run CQ swimmingly with full graphics on my 3 year old homebuilt cheap but high bang-for-buck comp, thank you very much.
My reason for having it off is the lore of it jarring. It just doesn't sit well with me.
The Hangar view was a very well-functioning part of the game, it was a terrible mistake for CCP not to have made CQ an option from the Hangar view, as was shown in the demos, and as players had voted for, and as the CSM had recommended.
Thrusting CQ in peoples' faces actually
highlighted its inadequacy at present, whereas if it had been an option, people might more readily have accepted that it's just a first iteration, and got on with playing the game.
But oh no, some coked-up genius decided to thrust it in our faces to try to make us buy the ludicrously expensive (not to mention dull, unimaginative, albeit well-done-for-what-it-is) crap in the NeX store.
And now we have to suffer the most boring thing in place of the Hangar - a ****ing static door.
Do you realise that back in 2007, there were many more station interiors than there were just before Incarna came in? For instance, Gallente used to have this very cool shopping mall type of thing for some of the more "civilian" types of stations - it had little cars whizzing around, and miniature shopfronts you could see, and a cavernous space, and your ship was sort of docked just outside it.
There have been many advancements in the graphics in EVE, but it's somewhat sad-making that the core "thing" you do, when you're in the station, has been reduced either to one racial type of CQ, or a completely static and boring door, the same door for everybody who's playing EVE at the moment.
Is that supposed to be
immersive?
