This link to my blog post pretty much explains what I am trying to do: post.Comments on my blog are disabled, but if someone could give suggestions under this topic referring to any of my dilemmas, especially the one about which blog site I should use, I would greatly appreciate it. |

Tumblr is more for brainfarts than for lengthy and 'considered' posts. Reply options are limited as are the rest of your options.
I'm looking into setting up a wordpress blog at the moment and it seems the nicest out of what I have seen so far. Might be worth having a look? |

I've thought of wordpress but wasn't so sure about it. The few blogs I have seen that are hosted by wordpress didn't look so great. Did I just find a few crappy blogs, is wordpress actually pretty good? |

i actually just took a look at the wordpress site and checked the support page. One of the things i don't like is that i can't use ads with their blogs. i don't know if i have to just pay to be allowed to us them but I would like to use a blog that allows ads whether i have to pay for it or not. Does anyone know of any other blog services? |

You could download the wordpress source, and host it yourself, you could then add advert support - I'm not sure about all the legal mumbo jumbo with wordpress, because I haven't looked into it. |
