I'm experimenting with PI. And something with routing confuses me, and I can't find an explanation in the tutorials.

I have an ECU with 5 heads deployed. They harvest Suspended Plasma (0.01m) in an one hour task (4 cycles, each 15min).

Each cycle yielded something more than 3000 units. And all 12371 units for that hour were routed correctly to the command center. A volume of 123.71m.

But the route I created suggested a usage of 226.64m (90.66% of that route). And even more oddly the route says that equals 5666 units!

So how is the route usage calculated? Especially with cycles shorter or longer than one hour? How do those numbers fit together?

Thanks

highest cycle

if you have 1 cycle that does 99999999999999999 and the rest do 2, you still need a link that can handle 99999999999999999

And more importantly do yourself a favor and never use your comand center for anything other then upgrade. Build a launch pad or silo. Launch pad's mainly.ugh

this

the storage in a command center is a joke
500m3 iirc, that is 50k of a raw/1300ish of a P1, anything more than ~2000 from an extractor for raw or more than 1 processor feeding it P1 puts you over for the day

Ok understood:
5666 units equals 56.66m, one cycle 15min -> 226,64m/h needed. ty :D

But where is that 5666 coming from, since all cycles were from 3200 to 3000 units? And there was only 1 extractor, 1 link and the command center.
