Considering it is being made in part by white-wolf . They have led quite a few titles to market already. " Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken, Mage: The Awakening, Promethean: The Created, Changeling: The Lost, Hunter: The Vigil, Geist: The Sin-Eaters." All of these adding some new aspect to the story line. Which goes without saying, will make for a very rich story and environment.

So what are some things you are looking forward to. And how do you see yourself playing this game "if you intend to". Seeing as there is little info on the mechanics so far. I am not sure I will jump into this right away. I have never been much for strictly role playing. Honestly there are not any true to nature high fantasy games on the market. That also have realistic graphics or events.

I'm looking forward to the game not being based on any of the titles you mentioned, but rather on the old setting.

…assuming they're still going in that direction.

Oh? What was the old setting? I don't know any of the lore/story involving the title :(.

Start here. The old setting is more about apocalyptic conspiracies and politics, and could be quite quite similar to EVE in that regard.

Or play Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, it's a very good game you can get cheap on steam. It captures the atmosphere well and I advise it especially to anyone looking to learn about the World of Darkness.

Immortal people have battles and dramatic power-plays using their awesome powers where it is always night and the stars are always shining...

...okay, sounds like Eve. WoD offers what? The opportunity to experience intensified posing in semi-bondage goth clothes?

I remain confus.

Yes - I'm interested in playing both World of Darkness and The Secret World as long as the stories are good.

I love a good yarn!
