Apocrypha : slightly over 2 years ago, "doesn't count"

Yes, it's just you.
There might have not been AS MUCH AS WE'D LIKE of it, but there certainly was quite a bit of it.

Dominion, 1.75 years ago : bye bye POS spam for sov, bye bye Promethium/Dysprosium overlords (and a much later welcome to the Technetium overlords), iHubs and their upgrades enabling a rich life in TOO MUCH of 0.0, Chromium IGB, pirate epic arcs, fleet finder

Tyrannis, 1.25 years ago : PI production - while "meh-ish" at first and with ONE major screwup, you can't deny it eventually turned out useful after another expansion

Incursions, 0.66 years ago : the Noctis, bye bye learning skills, agent access made much easier and quality improved, truckloads of new missions (including much-needed storylines) and DED sites, faction ships on the market, in-game anti-aliasing support, the actual incursions

Plus the multiple "team BFF" improvements spread across several patches.

A lot of what would be defined as 'new content' is not needed. Seriously not needed.

And I'm not talking about CQ (which I actually support).

We don't need new ships (even if there are some ship types I'd like to see).
We don't need more skills (Even if my main pvp character is finally opening Capitals due to a lack of anything else to train...)

I seriously support the idea of the next SEVERAL patches introducing NOTHING, and just improving existing content (up to, and including major re-vamps of various things).

Is it just me or have we had too many of the threads in the last few weeks Smile

I started right before Apocrypha. I had a lot of catching up to do before I could start using that content efficiently. PI was one of the first things I did when it (PI not Apocrypha) came out. It wasn't as good at first, then they improved it.

As I recall the response to PI was just as bad as Incarna. There were just as many whine threads, if not more. And I really think that is part of the problem; when you cry about every little thing, no one gives a **** after a while. It becomes obvious that tears will result no matter what the course of action.

resubbed an alt for 5 free days. let it go offline again.

ccp said check out all the new features in the mail.

a) cq is disabled cos it melts my gcard -1 feature
b) ship spinning is gone -1 feature
c) nex is ignored cos i dont have 70 to spend on a monocle nor would i even want one. -1 feature for me.
d) jumpbridges nerfed -1 feature for a lot of ppl inc me

so far thats -4 features --- incarna feels like a contraction rather than an expansion for me.

It's actually team BFF's latest attempt at reducing lag; less Players.
