Starcraft 2

Dragon age 1/2
Diablo 1/2
Borderlands
Spore
Or the witcher
I played all of these way to far out of interest. All great games though :D

Why are you waiting on Eve? Why don't you just play the game, instead of waiting for skills to progress...Sounds terrible.

There are lots of great games out there, however it might help to ask for a game in a certain genre, instead of a just a "good" game while excluding a crap ton of games. Get on Steam if you are not and have at it.

Honestly, there isn't anything to do Embarassed. And I have steam and have played half-life, fall out, tf2, CS, COD, which is why i said no shooters.

I am looking more for rpg type games. Something with character building.

If you want to get your support skills to a state where you are ready for whatever you want to be doing, simply train them to level 3, if even that. Thinking skillpoints = competence in this game is useless and believing that will ensure you are always waiting on that next 5% bonus.

I went int/mem for cyber 5. Atm I am just getting the requirements to use tech 2 modules so I don't completely waste my years worth of a remap. Three months isn't that long considering it will provide me with enough skills to fit all my combat ships for pve. I guess the best example, "What to do while I get my learning skills". Same sort of situation really.

There is a ton of stuff to do. In fact, you can do whatever you want. If you are bored now waiting for some skills to train, what you are going to do when all your skills will take 30 days to complete? The game isn't about skill points or getting your support skills to whatever arbitrary level you set for yourself. Don't wait for skills to finish, just play the game blow **** up. Also, I recommended Steam not just for Valve games, there are TONS of games on Steam; you can go through the genre's, see the metacritic scores (however meaningless) and have an instant community for whatever you game you buy. You missed the huge summer sale, but there is still some good deals to be found.

Way to not answer the question guys.

We seem to be on the same page regarding games. Try Fallout 3 (and New Vegas - with all 3 dlc's) or Mount and Blade Warband. Both great games. Don't read reviews for the latter, just try it.

Nor did you. He said no shooters :D Fallout 3 is a shooter!

I got Two Worlds II recently, pretty solid RPG. Similar to Oblivion, just better graphics and a little less content. Oh and get Oblivion op if you haven't played it. Great game, it is first person, but it's not a shooter (and you can go 3rd person I believe, I prefer first person though). Mount and Blade Warband great game, I'd get that over the fire and sword version.

I played a totally awesome game while I was waiting for optimal support skills. If I remember correctly, it was called "PVP in a mother****ing rifter, *****".

His point was to enjoy playing the game rather than worrying about how quickly your skills will train - and your rebuttal is that you are too worried about how quickly your skills will train to enjoy the game?

You know what is worse than flying a ship with low skills? Flying a ship with good skills but no clue about what to do with it, worst case a big expensive ship.

Honest advice, rather take the hit in training time and learn on the battlefield. It will take a little while longer to get your skills up, but it is really not that bad as people make it out to be.

I've never touched attribute bonus implants other than the +2 bonus you get from the ones that are relevant for pvp, and I dont use those most of the time either.

See, if you had some experience, you would realize that the only way to lose implants in PVP would be bubbled up in some 0.0 ****hole pipe. You are minmaxing in the worst way, but think you are coming out on top. Think again.

I mean ****, someone from RVB already posted in this thread. There is your answer. But the +5's still scream trolling alt.

Unfortunately, the old spam-click trick does not work reliably anymore due to the new UI being buggy.

It is very possible now to lose a pod to a cruiser size ship in low/hisec without doing anything wrong, or even a battlecruiser with some lag on your side.

Still, I'd rather fly a naked clone and live with slower training but get some combat experience.

Utterly blatant **** troll by this point but if you think having more skillpoints makes a difference to saving your implants you are an idiot. Of course you don't actually believe that but you are still a moron.

Suggestion: GTFO and don't bother coming back.

Nothing to lie about Razz

Also, It is no ones business how I came to acquire these implants. And I have a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to playing in PVE. Lost many a ship, and I don't care how or what you guys think about my play time on EVE. I asked about what games there were to play. Not how I should best use my 14.99 a month :D.

Keep trolling brah, I ain't even mad.

I never said that it would save my implant. And I could care less about what you guys think about my flying experience. I don't plan on pvp'ing on this character.

Post ponies "never have enough ponies" or maybe post something relevant to the topic. Instead of imagining that I asked you all advice about playing this game.

Waiting on support skills? - um... okie... Rolling Eyes

1. I read about things in EVE, self-education is a good thing in EVE online, guides, loadouts, news, player blogs, EVE radio, events...

2. IGB - I again read about RL or EVE related - say the forums, etc.

3. OGB - Background youtube, voices from the void, EVE-Radio Funkybacon, etc...

4. I socialize with people in my local, corp or contacts...

5. I fly around while in EVE, check the markets, make ISK, etc...

6. I get on SISI, when nothing is going on with TQ and I blow shyt up - sometimes me and sometimes someone else - much fun at 100 ISKies a item - including Monocles!

7. I look at the people around me when online and out in the RW, and people watch, mostly the women and their bits! Muhahahahaha...

8. Honestly if you are this bored with EVE and you are waiting on skills, perhaps this isn't the game for you... WoT's is more action, less waiting skils (since you really have none). I never feel like I have too much time between skills, I feel I have't enough time to get thing done or all wrapped in the time alotted and often I am online for 9+ hours a day!

Try these things... if not blog about your EVE time, maybe you will get a following, and a spot on EVE-Radio!

I beat morrowind when it first came out on "original" xbox. Very fun. Never looked into world of tanks. Played quite a few MMO's over the years. Trying to keep EVE the only one. But I will see about WoT as well.

I love the Sam and Max series, you should try that. It is very funny, but can be really hard, especially in season 1. Season 2 was my favorite but all three were great and took up a lot of my time.

NavyField - F2P/MT, PVP only, WW2 naval themed game, keyboard + mouse control.. quite fun, gets repetetive quickly though.

Civilization 4, (Civ5 is a let down tbh), BOS expansion, Next War mod, I still get beaten by the PCEmbarassed

C&C3 Kanes Wrath, (CnC4 is wtf?!), Im discovering a new strategy everytime, frikkin GDI rifleman/rocketman rush is amazing.

Also, I didnt like Mass Effect 1, my boss gave me his copy, nice sci-fi environment but the combat system is just "WTF?!", I havent bothered trying ME2..
