Impressive setup. Why do you have eight computers running this? I can't imagine a reason for more than 3 or so.

You really need to look at ISBoxer / Inner Space; this software allows me to launch all six of my clients with a single action and allows me to broadcast mouse/keyboard action to all or some of my clients regardless of weather or not they are on the same computer.

I shudder to think of how problematic and time consuming synergy may have been to set up.

I am very impressed with how your screens are suspended!

I can't imagine ever having that many screens, but I said that when I had three screens. Now I have six. (I once had eight but that proved to problematic (they were CRT and took up to much space).

Uh oh, I just realized I have two LCDs gathering dust. I loath you!

He paid for the accounts.

You think if he was farming for the sake of making money, he'd purchase PLEX to keep his characters active.

Either your spend a crap load of money on air conditioning, or you consolidate expenses and save on heating.

Either way I have to resist the urge to hide my jealousy.

Awesome looking rig you have there.

EDIT: COnsider contributing some images to the eveisreal contest?

It would be a shame never to see a bunch of spaceships on my space-aged floating monitor array. Returning to EVE, much like Borg dominance, was inevitable.

So please give me your thoughts. I need reaffirmation from EVE-O posters that I have made the correct life choices.

You only need 1 account, PC and monitor to play Eve.

Not if you bought her something equally jaw dropping, I'm sure.

OP, that is amazing. I say you have a normal epeen and everyone else has an evag because it looks so smarr in comparison.

I suppose you got the inspiration from the movie "Swordfish?"

I also like how the OP has aesthetic senses. Monitors lined up well. I've seen others attempt such a thing in other games and they look ugly as sin.

Good job.

The damage:
3 monitors were cracked during shipping (UPS) and had to be RMA'ed with Newegg - they just ship them in the monitor box which is grossly inadequate and always arrives with box damage.
1 monitor had a pixel color defect and had to be RMA'ed via the manufacturer - not a single other dead pixel or issue with the Samsung P2250's.
1 monitor broken due to a mistake during installation.
3 monitors trashed in a fit of nerdrage after a silicon test had ugly results.
1 monitor on standby in case of hardware failure.

Congratulations. You're a spoiled brat.

My fiance's a pilot. The helicopter he pilots creates a bigger carbon footprint in one flight than all 15 of those monitors running for a year.

And he works for Exxon. Very Happy

Normally this sort of epeen stroking just induces yawn. But your setup is SO over-the-top I have to say, I'm impressed. Soloing an incursion, wow. That would be epic (at least, the first time.)

Mining is one of the few occupations in EVE that scales well with # of accounts being multiboxed. I find that dual boxing mission running accounts takes up all of my attention as it is. The other possibility is if he maneuvers all of his UI elements such that he can duplicate mouse and keyboard events across all 26 accounts.

Now that I think about it, with some software and careful planning, you could actually manage an entire fleet this way:
Simply guarantee that all accounts have the same type of module in each slot - ie have all warp scramblers in medium slot 1, all propulsion mods in medium slot 2, all grouped turrets in high slot 1, etc...

With some even more careful planning, you might even get RR to work with such a set up.

OP - make it happen!
