21/7/113

Today, capsuler forces turned back two seperate sansha invasions of hi-sec space. The first one to be engaged was located in the Amarr solar system of Kador prime. During this incursion, a sansha Nation class super capital piloted by Citizen Ashtur was spotted and engaged local forces multipal times but was ulimatly turned away and forced back into the wormhole that spawned it. The second incursion that was reported happened in the Caldari hi-sec system of New Caldri. This incursion was lead by Slave Nakri29 in a chimera class carrier. local forces along with a State protectorate Super capital piloted by Koja Tsutariba turned this invasion back with the destruction of Slave Nakri29's chimera and her pod.

Could it be that Sanshas willingness to invade the Capital systems of the major empires a response to the constante defeats that Sansha forces have been suffering? or an act of desperation? only time will tell.

I for one, believe that the second attack was an attempt to disrupt trade to Jita, often considered the heart of the economy. In that regard, I think that they failed miserably to disrupt trade.

Again, thanks goes to the State Protectorate for their speedy response first with logistics ships, and then the Wyvern Super Carrier CNS Tovil Tova when Sansha brought their carrier onto the field. It did it's name proud today.

What a fanciful logic: I think their purpose was to disrupt Jita, therefore they have failed!"

If one were to utilize this wondrous new system, I suppose one could say: I think their purpose was to get you to talk about them on Galnet, therefore they succeeded!

Oddly enough, this is the same logic that most Coalition thugs use to describe the war effort against Nation. "I think their purpose is to conquer territory, therefore they have failed!"

It must be easy to win a war when you set your own rules, but reality may not be so kind.

Thing is, I didn't say the war is won. That's still ongoing. But that engagement? I couldn't see any other reason for them to attack that location as they did other than to try and disrupt movement through the gate.

Of course, you don't really know what they were up to either. So maybe we should ask Sansha Kuvakei? I for one, would love for him to lay out the details of his plans here on the IGS for all to see so that we may better end them.

And so you guys will finally see him for what he does, who he is and what he really wants. But I guess you guys enjoy your nightmare so much that you would just ignore it if reality were to stare you in the face.

But enough mud throwing. I have Incursions to fight.

I was fighting in New Caldari system and the Sanshas attack force wasn't big enough to take out the gate or cause some major damage in the system. But, it was big enough to distract or buy some time for another attack group or commando to sabotage gate/station/starbase or structure on the planet. Kuvakei isn't fool to send fleet somewhere just for fun.
So in my opinion, it was just a part of something bigger.
