There was a void of darkness as the Pride of Amar, Amar Border Fleet owned Tengu, approached the final jump home.

He had won the day for his agent. His scans were still with only planetary returns as background noise; no enemies identified within a 14 AU range.

He alone remained, supreme.

FirstMaaaad executed the agent response code required of such success, and stood down. His autopilot anticipated his orders by calculating a return course, likewise FirstMaaaad an experienced low sec pilot kept manual control. The majesty of the moment; the importance of his faction mission, warmed him as he entered Huola. The covert cloak calculations . . .

A power fluctuation interrupted the calculations. The subconscious thought shouted, “POINT”. Between one second and the next, his connections to external shield unit failed.

He initiated emergency POD protocols.

The back-ups failed to boot, failed to reroute the emergency autopilot warp; the fail-safes did not energize. The darkness on the void deepened for the instant before clone regeneration. Stunned, FirstMaaaad toggled his combat log file and read the ship loss entry. Again, disbelieving he key stroked another data file: Minmatar Killboard.

Shaking, “How can slaves in thrashers all but instant kill me in the Pride of Amar?”

Well done!

Our militia's need to deploy more thrasher fleets, they are very effective. That little alpha machine is very mean in a pack :)

So....you shot down a Tengu arrogantly named the "Pride of Amar" (which, by the way, it's spelled "Amarr") and felt the need to broadcast this to the cluster, why?

Don't get me wrong, I am sure this was the pinnacle of your fleet operations that day, I am simply curious what makes this particular engagement more relevant than the hundreds more that occurred that day. Was the pilot "FirstMaaaad" a call name for the Empress' Chancellor or something?

You know, I blew up a ship once.

The explosions were pretty.
