As soon as 95% of Eve's subscribers quit checking "don't load station environment"

Don't worry, your skirt will be ironed while you wait. Rolling Eyes

You forgot the decimal. ".95%"

This is the problem with the forums, you complainers see yourselves as a majority. Why don't you login and ask people questions about Incarna? Heck, most people I've talked to don't care about any of the petty things being cried about here.

In other words, stop pulling numbers out of your injured behind.

Also, so that I may contribute to the thread - I'd like to see the rest of the CQs as well.

I like the CQ yet even I can see it's currently an unnecessary tax on my system resources. So I keep it off the majority of the time.

This will change once some gameplay elements get added.

Actually, if you followed things, you'd know they're planned for end of august, I believe.
The CSM has already seen the current versions of them, CCP just doesn't think they're polished enough to be included in the game.

I do like the CQ, however, personally, I would have made using them a 2 step process. When someone docks, they get the old hangar bay, as it used to be complete with ship spinning and all the usual stuff, and an extra button that lets you exit your POD and enter the CQ.
The biggest reason I've turned it off myself, even though I like the way it looks is funcionality. Most of the time, I dock up, dump stuff, switch a ship maybe, or pick something up, then head out again. at most I spend like a minute inside the station ( unless I'm afk or doing my industry ).
As such, the extra loading time from the CQ is very annoying, hence I turned it off.

My god, after weeks of reading trash on CQ, finally a sensible suggestion - someone please do it before the forum hamster is killed

Umm, this has been spoken of regularly. It's why so many people have complained about a net loss of functionality since CQ.

I love CQ, or rather I love what it will (hopefully) become. But I would have preferred it as an option from the old station spinning view. CCP's determination to put marketing first has led to a net loss of functionality - instead of cool station spinning as default, most players have a fricken' door.

The thing that most annoys me about CQ at the moment is that the casualness of it is so against the grain of the lore. Yes, Capsuleers can get out of their pods, but it's supposed to be disorienting and not something they do often, only for good reason (like having to arrange shady dealings :) ). The earlier videos, with the de-podding happening in private, had it right - having the pod casually on a landing as if you can pop in and out of it just so, is an abomination, lore-wise.

And it shouldn't be something every pod pilot is forced to do every time they friggen' dock.

Probably in 18 months... Confused

Also, no-one I know who still plays the game has CQ turned on anymore. As soon as they knew how to turn it off, they did.
