Not really no. I think you might probably be content to remain in Huola leeching off the efforts of your fellow crusaders while posting meaningless claptrap on the summit. I'd think the aspiration to join an organization of idealistic freedom fighters far-famed and legendary for guerilla ops across the star cluster would be the last thing on your mind.

It's good to see we still continue to disagree. I'd hate to think something went terribly wrong in this universe where you would actually step off your high-horse and think logically.

When your definition of "logic" is to get down on your knees and kiss the feet of the priests who would enslave your kinsmen then I am quite proud to spit in the face of such concepts and embrace the cheerful illogical beauty of freedom.

Well as I said I have lost my patience with people pretending to have resources they do not. If somebody has isk to throw at an issue then do it - stop claiming toothlessly you "might" "could" "maybe" "perhaps" do something with this legendary isk.

I wonder if what your opinion of a Calari Deteis pilot might be if they decided to join with the forces of the Gallente Federation under the auspices of an extremist group believing the Caldari people an inferior people fit only for menial labour and socio-political reeducation. I'd wager your assessment would be notably less forgiving ...

I won't have any opinion of this pilot. His position against the State will be declared clearly by him, and I don't think any communication will be fruitful. I will just shoot him as other frogs. I might say him some abuses, as to other enemies, to make him angry and in hope he will do mistake.

Toiling away on the mystery of the ancients that old-fashioned way now seems more likely to produce coherent results - if very, very slowly.

Clearly, defection was not a good choice. It would be helpful to identify what could have been done differently in that regard, if only to avoid going through this the next time a distinguished researcher decides to share knowledge for the broader good.

Jade Constantine's comments about Verone's reputation literally made me split a rib laughing.

Trust me, Jade, you think your two-bit manufacturing operation hauls in the big bucks? I've seen the size of Verone's account personally. You, woman, have no ****ing idea what you're talking about, and you should probably just shut up before you make an even bigger fool of yourself. The man gives out ISK in billion-sized installments for people who beat him at drinking games. I can't remember the last time I saw you flying a ship as expensive as the amount he pays people to do tequila suicides.

I'm guessing thats a euphemism. But frankly a capsuleer who indulges in self-inflicted genetic tampering to induce gigantism as a sop for personality disorder is all likelihood as deficient in his *ahem* account as his other qualities.

You Andreus are nothing but a puling sycophantic insect. Proceed to buzz around the dung of Verone's leavings as your preference but stop bringing these unsanitary predilections to galnet.

Perhaps in your bizarre little fantasies, yes, but I have the unfortunate burden of living in reality. It's a rather desolate place here, so I don't blame you for going somewhere else - but could I possibly ask you to do us the courtesy of retreating there entirely? Categorise for me how by anyone's standards other than your own (which the vast majority of the cluster knows are so utterly divorced from reality as to be farcical), you "humiliated" Verone. Currently I see that by dint of combat efficiency, the only metric that really matters to a pirate corporation, Veto - when they pay attention to you at all, and not to more important matters - wipe the floor with you in nearly every engagement they choose to undertake with Fraction pilots.

The truth is, Jade, and of course, you will never admit this, not even to yourself - you're envious. You're envious of the success and respect that Veto Corporation have attained. You're envious of the success and respect that Ethan Verone has attained. You're envious of the fact that this corporation - a pirate corporation, the epitome of greed and self-interest at the expense of others - garners infinitely more fear and respect among the capsuleers of New Eden than your entire alliance, which is supposedly dedicated to the liberation and uplift of the entire human race. Heck, you're envious of (not to mention pretty damn mad at) the fact that Verone affords me more time and attention than you, and takes me, of all people, more seriously as a capsule pilot in New Eden than you.

Why else would you have been literally screaming at your own members not to take losses when RK and Veto assaulted your towers?

Yes, I know about that. Ask me how.

That took you quite a while to write that little screed Andreus. Yet the reality remains that your idol was humiliated and his protectorate entity (moira) scattered with an eliminated HQ. History is unkind to liars.

Still you did put in some special effort so I'll recipricate (a little)

While I do note the plaintive and rather despairing tone of your own view of “desolate” reality with some sympathy I will correct you on some points first though:

The Fraction doesn’t care for the metrics other entities may assess their level of “victory” on. Such things can be worthless as a measure. Indeed I’ve heard some in the Caldari Nationalist community consider metrics around the Andreus “whine-quotient” as pertinent, which while admittedly amusing does illustrate why such things are scarcely useful.

What we do care about is our measure of victory and when we set out to eliminate an enemy HQ tower that is vigorously defended by entities outnumbering us by 5x in raw numbers, we consider achieving that destruction is something worthy of note.

As to the rest, one might well measure success in sycophantic tongue-bathing from the likes of you Andreus but no, it’s just not for me. And while yes certainly, Veto is an epitome of greed and self-interest (self-delusion and bizarre vanity as well mind) you are quite wrong to assume others desire Fear/respect as a means to justify their own existence. Fear is a terrible thing to expect from others because it is so easily denied.

Does it make Verone rage and bite his knuckles to the bone that I pay him no respect or “fear” whatsoever and I am quick to raise my voice to mock the pirate-king for his lack of clothing? Perhaps, but its been my way since the beginning of the capsuleer Diaspora to provoke the prideful and laugh in the face of tyrants.

As for being jealous that the pint-sized panderer lavishes his attention on you Andreus Shocked

Seriously, ah dear, at least you made me laugh finally. Bravo!

History is indeed unkind to liars. You know, and the rest of the cluster knows - and the rest of the cluster knows you know - that Moira is not a "protectorate entity" of Veto. You know that CVA have no relation to Moira other than that they both dislike you, yet you still include them in the same campaign on your killboard. You know that the only truly "allied" factions - by their own assent - are Rote Kapelle and Veto. You know that the only reason they assist Moira is because all three entities share a mutual enemy - you. You know that if Moira's enemy was anyone other than you, Veto would most likely not give a bag of fedos about it. You know Veto couldn't give a damn whether that tower lived or died, except that it was a hindrance to you.

And more importantly, the entire cluster knows that you know these things. They know the reason you grouped all those entities together on your killboard was because if you combine the numbers right, it makes it look like Star Fraction's winning the numbers war. But Moira's managed to trash a damn sight more in ISK than it's lost, and so has everyone other than CVA - for whom the justification for including as an ally of Moira was beyond even farcical.

The point is, Jade - everyone knows you're lying! Everyone! They don't need me to point it out!

If anyone was humiliated in this conflict, it would be you. You've constantly had to remind people that you're not, in fact, losing. You've put far more effort into making sure to tell people that than I ever have into writing these little gems. You blew a tower up, Jade. Congratulations. Want a medal? A few years back, the alliance I was with used to do that twice, maybe three times in one day. Moira can afford the ships to take you down to a 38% combat efficiency rating. You really think they can't replace that tower if they want to?

And again, why would you be screaming at your own members if it was really all going so well?

You really do live in a little fantasy land.

Unless of course the K/D ratio wasn't our measure and we only cared about removing Moira's HQ and counted EVERYONE who attempted to stop us alongide Moira being literally on their side in this context. Shock horror - imagine that!
