Payment Schedule:

* Maturity Date = 28/08/11

VV,

Are you able to REALISTICALLY deliver my BPO's as per the above maturity date?

or would you (for your sake) like the dates brought forward, so as you can close out your operation earlier than the 28/8/11, i understand if you chose to bring the date forward that it may/may not effect any research you have going on this, im fine with this.

What i can do is essentially 'call' the collateralized part of iCandy #4, give investors the option to either;

1) Cash out Now with 1 month's interest.
2) Convert the bonds to High yield, thus 8% interest to be paid.
3) Attempt to organise another trusted researcher to take over your role in iCandy, (very tentative to do this tbh.)

I hope you aren't hurt by my posting here, as you can tell im quite concerned for my BPO's future, it's not everyday someone holding 6b worth of my BPO's decides to leave the game. My fear revolves around your not being contactable in game.

Again, i hope you can be forthcoming & realistic with your intentions. I also think its very sad to lose such a pillar to the community that you have become.

Candy.

I sent you a mail ingame about this if VV wants to leave earlier.

I'm very sorry to hear you're leaving VV. Despite our differences (my very first forum fight anywhere on the interwebz was here on MD with you!) I have come to respect you and your principles a great deal and can say without hesitation that MD will be worse off, although a little more peaceful, for your absence.

Can I suggest that rather than closing down the charity work you look into having it continue in your absence?

Sorry to see you go. Despite the naysayers floating about, you will be missed.

I work in RL Finance, but not as a trader, so your posts here in MD has been very useful to my own understanding of how markets work.

If you would like someplace to store any cleaned, 'off forum' copy of the TA thread (since we'll lose that to the new forum) I'd be happy to host it for free. There are a couple options I have for enabling this, eve-mail me if interested.

What kind of market newbie would I be without begging for some of your stuff?

On a more serious note, i'm not reading anything here about why you are leaving except a rather nebulous refrence to a petition (presumably gone awry). I'm well aware of your stance on CCP moving forward, but is there a new part to this story or have you simply made up your mind about something from weeks ago when the rage was at full-froth?

Either way, best of luck. Perhaps one day you'll return to lurk while i'm a successful marketeer. Laughing

I am humbled by your words.
I am just the average Istaria MMO player, most are like that Razz

I have opened a 3rd, escalated ticket, for 2 senior GMs. I want to see how this goes, I don't have many hopes though. They have a "I don't hear you TRALALALALALALALA!" approach to anything which is not open cheerleading.

I think I've missed the point where you tell us what the problem actually is?

I was under the impression it had to do with paying $100 to do whatever it is you do - And they fixed that.

This has nothing to do with the lincensing scheme, it's other (worse) issues.

No, they didn't. They went "Uhmm ... let's rethink this, we'll tell ya later ...". But thereafter all we heard was the sweet sound of silence.

My sub expires at this downtime.

Those with open deals / collateral / BPOs research don't worry, I'll resub in some days for 1 more month so I may orderly close all the business I had the pleausure to have with you.

Whatever the actual issue here happens to be (that you are petitioning)...
it would be great if you would let us know once you actually leave - since for whatever reason you refuse to let us know now.

You can't post on the forums once your sub is expired.

Confirming that I am the last long term customer and that I am very satisfied with the service that VV has provided me. I contracted with VV starting in March and received consistent and diligent service. Further, VV was very accommodating to my circumstances as an infrequently gamer and was entrusted with significant assets. Needless to say, should VV ever offer these sorts of services again, I would use them.

All the outstanding deals have been finalized.

I will take my leave now, but first I wish to thank the many who made my living in EvE a fruitful and unforgettable experience: Shar, Chribba, Raw23, Rykker Bow, Candy Oshea, Caleb, Julian Koll, Rogue Halo and ALL those who grandiously donated ISK to the VAERT RL emergency relief charity.

I wish also to thank MD in general for having put me on the right track about economy and eventually making me become an RL trader when I lost my last job.

Finally, I wish to thank CCP for having invented EvE. The gaming world would miss a lot without this MMO.

Farewell to everyone, live safe and prosper! Smile
