I am currently the recruiting director for my corp., and as such I've found a need to create a spreadsheet that will assist me in checking the skills of recruits that come to me interested in joining my corp.

This spreadsheet is still a work in progress, but it is pretty far along, somewhere between half and 3/4 done. It imports the skills data from a web site, sorts the skills and displays them in such a manner as to create an easy to read, easy to use format for glancing at someone skills to see if they will be useful to my corp. More details to follow.

What I'm trying to find out at this point is if there is sufficient interest in such a project that I could sell this spreadsheet. The figure I have in mind would be around 200-300M, and I would even offer to customize it to the individual buyer.

The spreadsheet displays both combat and industry sections. There is also a section that checks fleet fits to see if a pilot can fly the ships that alliance currently requires for joining fleets.

Combat sections will check to see what ships, weapons, etc a pilot can fly and use in such a manner, via conditional formatting, that you can glance at that page and see very quickly if a pilot can use an item, and if not, how close they are to being able to use it.

The industry section would check what industry type ships a pilot could fly, along with checking how well they can manufacture, mine, refine, research, trade, etc. It would also dispay such things as how many labs they can use, how many factory slots, how many market orders they can place, etc.

There is also a main display page to tie both sides in so you can get an idea of the big picture. The other pages would then give you more details, as you deem necessary to look at. The ships page for instance, gives you an overall view at first glance, tell you Yes or No for each combat ship as to whether or not the pilot can fly it. But each ship class also expands out so that you can further view the skills needed to fly that particular class of ship.

There are alot of details that I have not posted here, simply for the purpose of attempting to keep this brief. I do have a few screenshots I will share if there is enough interest.

In closing, I would appreciate any thoughts or comments on whether or not you think I would be able to sell this. I'm basically burnt out and tired of making the ISK all the conventional ways, and I really enjoy working with spreadsheets. Thanks for taking a moment to read this.
