Since when did CCP adjust subscriptions based on currency fluctuations...?
A devalued won't make any difference to Europeans as long as they pay in euros.

The European economy is going down faster than the US economy.

All Western economies are failcascading with our governments cranking up the printing presses, furiously churning out more paper currencies that have no intrinsic value.

It makes me wonder if plex would be a better store of wealth than dollors/euros/pounds?

Without an dept increase, when will the USA go bankcrupt....? 1. August 2011?
This will be a lot sooner then all Euro problems ;)

And with your yearly US state dept you would never get into the Euro currency zone.
So stay Drama mode ^^

Never, Dollar will be converted into Amero, USA (or better said the leading forces leading the country atm) wants to join up with Canada for free access to their sand-oil fields and south america (part of it) for free access on the worlds richest lithium fields. J.W. Bush already signed an agreement on this.

As for the Euro, its value is being pulled down on purpose to make a profit (or bigger profit) on exports with USA and Asia. The Euro is a much stable currency since its not basing its value on the oil industry as much as the dollar is, but infact all paper currencies are dropping in value.

If you're talking about the actual value of a dollar versus a euro in the real world, the euro will always be higher because when the American Government needs to buy something and they don't have enough money, they just print more.

If you're talking about the price of subscription for Eve, I don't know.

Might have happened in the 90s when the US economy was booming and the Loony was floundering, but atm Canada wants no part of our currency policy, our debt, or our politics. Since they already have free trade with the US, there is little for them to gain in a common currency, and much to loose.

We are aware of this, but our politicians decided to set priorities ...

... and spend the money on bailouts for failing countries. When they are done running our country into the ground and it is our turn to failcascade, then no one in the EU will be there to save us.

Sorry to burst your bubbles. But the USA will never go bankrupt because they have way too many natural resources to do so. It's the smaller countries with fewer resources that will run into the problems....

I share your concerns. However if we dont bail them out partialy now, theyre debts will fully get on the rest of europe when they actualy do fall. Hope you'll consider this atleast a bit. (fyi, im dutch)

As for "several europeans will not be able to afford EVE ONLINE"... i'd like to say that the only ones that wont be able to afford it are the idiots down south that we are currently bailin out partialy and they still manage to have protests.. so i dont give a f*** about them not being able to afford eve for years to come. Would actualy rather say put them in a program of 10 years water and bread only to pay off there debts faster.

Sorry if that comes over as offending to anyone here. But put yourself in the shoes of the rest of europe aswell.

Whats it cost in yen?

Who's on the chopping block know? Heard Italy. How the others doing Spain, Portugal, Ireland?

Has Greece devolved into city states again yet? Would be kinda awesome actually.

Also video games are a privilege not a right...and if you cant afford eve you're either in college (Which is free in Europe so get a job) or have other priorities not in order... (Get a better job)

Well afaik the US folks, they might want to bring 'democracy'.. to canada.. u know..

Just recently (been a week or so) US is publicly critizing Germany's social and health insurance policies, claiming its hurting the world economy, while not benefiting sick ppl in Germany?! I never wathced a video where someone in germany dies waiting to be treated because she has no health insurance... but u know USA knows best!

Maybe it will encourage all the americans to quit eve and vacation in Europe.

I rented a canal boat a few years ago and went over the Arne to the Rhine in France. I'd like to do the Lorne river valley, or perhaps Burgundy.

It was a lot easier with the dollar approaching .86 to the euro for part of the trip (shortly after the Euro had been introduced)

Of course the western economies are failing...they outsource all their work and get much of their resources from 3rd world countries(look up Bangladesh Tanneries). Add to that the false GDP of China and its manipulation of the markets by continuing to devalue its own currency, and you have a recipe for economic disaster.

If the people in your country that you live in produce nothing and only consume - eventually there will not be enough consumers spending money to keep the economy going. Also, if the people are not working, taxes are not being collected and the government lacks funds to keep running. Simple economics really. Unfortunately, the people in charge of the Oligarchies that run the developed nations do not care. They have their riches and everyone else can eat cake. :)

Whole system is literally house of cards. Kick out couple important supports down and it goes down. That`s why all big money is squealing about stopping anyone who should go into bankrupcy / leave their debts unpaid. They are horrified at the thought of losing their shirts. This crap in EU is just latest in line what can be safely called outright scams.

When US took themselves off the gold standard this paintrain started rolling. Laughing

the stuff that goes on down there during elections if tried in canada would result in a lot of people going to jail. we have a working democracy and certainly don't need to import any of their ideas.

Just to be clear, are you saying that the UK uses the euro? Or are you saying the pound is failing more than the dollar/euro?

?

Northern Island doesn't have it's own economy, it's part and whole of the UK. Doctors' from India? What if they all leave, which I would doubt, those doctors & nurses that trained in the UK and then left (as they couldn't get a place in the UK ironically) will simply fill the hole. But that has nothing to do with how the UK economy will fail. That is in the hands of any toxic debt on either the UK's private or public debt book. Should Greece default, it won't hit the UK 'directly' hard (US/France/Germany) has a much greater stake with Greece debt. However, should that lack of confidence then hit Spain/Italy's g.bond interest rates, then the UK is certainly in a tight spot; though saying that, so would other western economies including the US. Think that would be the doomsday scenario... bad times.

What sucks is the fact I have to pay 15 euro per month, not 15 dollars, which for me would be cheaper [Brit here!]. Oh and a further 1 euro for 'international transaction'... what a farce. Evil or Very Mad
