You know, I find this terribly ironic from a person who once tried to rally FDU to take over a system called Hykanima. Yes, I dont think even many soldiers will find it on the maps since it is quite literally at the arse-end of Black Rise region.

And since we attack entire constellations, it is uncertain where the progress is fastest. Now it happened to be Harroule, could have well been Intaki. Such is how it goes.

Also, I wonder how the federation tolerates such defeatist attitude. On the other hand, people boast here about power of FDU, then gen. Inhonores comes here and practises his own form of self-flagellation. This mainly seems to deal with eventual defeat and death of all Gallentes and the evil fascist jackboots of the State kicking down the doors in the dead of night and stealing babies from their mothers to be raised as corporate wage slaves.

I think effect might be improved if Mr. Inhonores accompanied these outbursts with holovideos where he tears his own clothes apart and scatters ash on his hair. Visual aspect of propaganda is, after all, very important.

Until such time, I leave you with this old holovideo I found. It speaks of many things, which no doubt were clear to people of old Terra, but I find it quite good nonetheless.

But specifically with regards to Mordu's Legion, those Intaki military personnel who sided with the newly created State during the first Gallente-Caldari war did so willingly. They were not exiled as you suggest. I believe you are confusing the original Intaki members of Mordu's Legion with those who were forced from their homes and denied planetary settling rights even outside Federation borders in what has become The Syndicate.

But the State is not without blame when we talk about Mordu's Legion. Indeed their own people turned on those Intaki who had sided with them. It was only after violence occurred that the Legion was formed as the organisation we know today.

No, despite the efforts of both sides to occupy and maintain a hold on Intaki and surrounding systems, both sides have dark stains on their history with the Intaki people. But of course they will rightly point out that this was a long time ago, and the Federation is a different place today, and the State no longer denies the Intaki of Mordu's Legion.

I'd return to your earlier comment regarding what the people of Placid really need, which is an end to the war. They need stability. They need peace.

If only those who hold the reins of both Federation and State and the militia who do their violent bidding could see that, beyond beating the other side into submission.

Captain Bataav,

I would link to a historical reference of the Mordu's Legion formation which clearly indicates that it was, in fact, formed from the Intaki that were exiled from the Federation. (We speak of the same incident, a group went on to form Mordu's Legion, several more formed The Syndicate. So, we are both correct in our understanding of the events. )

Furthermore, the State cooperated with Mordu in putting down the uprising against the Intaki and Mordu's Legion remains in good relations with the State to this day. In fact, many of its retired members find themselves retiring to society, and citizenship, within the State.

We didn't want that system anyways

No, we wanted it. We fought hard for it. But it's not the system the opposing forces had in mind when they started their recent campaign. At this point in time, by securing Harroule they have put themselves further from securing Intaki.

X Gallentius, if you think, that the Intaki is our final goal, you just don't see the whole picture. Well, it's not strategic information to hide as it is quite obvious. You will understand it, when our fleets will occupy Villore.

yes. the caldari, aided by the puppets of a 0.0 alliance, took the harroule system from the gallente federation. The gallente federation militants, after losing a supercarrier to 30 supercarriers belonging to said alliance the amarrians bait for, decided the fight was not worth continuing, even due to the fact deploying capital ships would've meant having them get destroyed by supercapitals.

The gallente federation held harroule for a very long time, considered they were heavily outnumbered.

Of course, I'd like to remind propaganda should be filtered.

here is a link to the supercarrier kill/loss, for clarification.

Today, State forces have re-established their presence in Placid region by taking control of Harroule. This was second attack on the system. First attack ended up with severe gallente casualties, including their mercenary supercarrier but enough casualties were sustained by State which forced us to halt the attack.

Not so today. Amarr/Caldari taskforce mobilised to Agoze and in first engagement we destroyed large outlaw fleet, despite them being supported by Gallente fleet. One Typhoon class battleship was lost from our fleet but the brave pilot and surviving crew were soon back onboard a Rupture class cruiser. Five outlaw battleships were destroyed, including a mighty Armageddon Navy Issue.

Gallente forces meanwhile retreated to Harroule and attemped to mount defense. Amarr carriers were called to field to form a defensive circle around the bunker and ships. In retaliation. FDU forces attempted to use range to their advantage but ended up losing several ships while combined Caldari/Amarr taskforce suffered no losses in return.

The fate of the bunker was sealed when Caldari militia deployed dreadnought to the bunker and took it down in short order. System was captured and Caldari navy forces started deploying into system and full presence is expected to be fielded in approximately 14 hours.

And why all this death and destruction? Quite simply, to prove something wrong. To prove wrong the boasts of Erian, Inhonores, Foederatus and others; that Rocarion would forever be removed from Placid and never again would a gallente system be occupied by Caldari State.

And this they dare to say to us, when it was their nation which attacked us in Malkalen while bearing the olive branch. Never forget this, brave men and women of the Caldari militia.

Never forget.

Your goal may be the destruction of the Federation, but, whatever he has promised to you, I think your leader's goals are a bit less ambitious and a bit more obvious.

Let's be clear about something.

Had the Gallente forces not called upon Huzzah Federation (a long-standing null-sec alliance) to assist them, and had Huzzah Federation not brought in capital forces, I very much doubt Raiden. would have ever appeared.

It may be unfortunate that both parties rely on outside parties to secure an advantage over their enemies, but this is war, and quite frankly I think you're just bitter that the Caldari have bigger friends than you do.

No, it isn't obligatory. If the Federation surrender, this will do too.

Eran,

I'd always thought you to be a friend of the Intaki people. I am sad to discover that this is not the case.

Harroule is more than just a dot on the map. It's a real place, with real people, whose lives will be affected.

I have friends who hail from Duureanta in the Harroule system, a colony which fared poorly during Caldari occupation last time. And now I fear for the safety of many people as cold hearted soldiers like Diana Kim and yourself who profess nothing but disgust for Federal citizens roll into Duureanta to establish State control over the system.

Perhaps before one crows about victory, one could stop to count the human cost of the events that are currently unfolding.

Just like you don't want the 7 systems currently enjoying their freedom under the protection of the Republic.

I think you have me confused. I'm not "crowing" about victory, simply letting the Caldari militia, our long-time allies, know that we are willing to assist them in their area of operations.

Do not take my words for something they are not.

I should remind you the rest of your argument goes both ways.

I take you at your words, but I consider also the implications of such words.

As for the argument going both ways, I haven't the slightest clue what you mean by this.

I think, perhaps, he means that the Caldari living on worlds in Federation occupied space also suffered.

If this is the case, I agree with him. This war has gone on quite long enough with more than enough suffering to share. I appeal to the capsuleers charged with carrying out this violence to realize the full implications of their actions and stand down.

You have all proven your honor and willingness to serve. Now prove that you have not shed yourself of your humanity and make peace. Let us pound our swords into plowshares and plant the seeds of prosperity for this generation and those that will follow us. Let our legacy be one of restoration rather than annihilation.
