Today, State forces have re-established their presence in Placid region by taking control of Harroule. This was second attack on the system. First attack ended up with severe gallente casualties, including their mercenary supercarrier but enough casualties were sustained by State which forced us to halt the attack.

Not so today. Amarr/Caldari taskforce mobilised to Agoze and in first engagement we destroyed large outlaw fleet, despite them being supported by Gallente fleet. One Typhoon class battleship was lost from our fleet but the brave pilot and surviving crew were soon back onboard a Rupture class cruiser. Five outlaw battleships were destroyed, including a mighty Armageddon Navy Issue.

Gallente forces meanwhile retreated to Harroule and attemped to mount defense. Amarr carriers were called to field to form a defensive circle around the bunker and ships. In retaliation. FDU forces attempted to use range to their advantage but ended up losing several ships while combined Caldari/Amarr taskforce suffered no losses in return.

The fate of the bunker was sealed when Caldari militia deployed dreadnought to the bunker and took it down in short order. System was captured and Caldari navy forces started deploying into system and full presence is expected to be fielded in approximately 14 hours.

And why all this death and destruction? Quite simply, to prove something wrong. To prove wrong the boasts of Erian, Inhonores, Foederatus and others; that Rocarion would forever be removed from Placid and never again would a gallente system be occupied by Caldari State.

And this they dare to say to us, when it was their nation which attacked us in Malkalen while bearing the olive branch. Never forget this, brave men and women of the Caldari militia.

Never forget.

Right. So the Knighthood supports the establishment of Caldari corporate rule on the native population of the Placid area?

Don't forget, that as the Caldari do not adhere to the Amarrian faith, they are just as much heathens as the Minmatar and Gallenteans.

Seriphyn ...

Gods and spirits, I wasn't even going to say anything about this whole topic, but then you ...

By the Creator's rod ...

... GODS.

Do the words, "Allies of convenience, with a few notable traits on common," mean anything at all to you? How about, "They're both at war with you, and not at war with each other?"

How about, "Their immediate interests have been basically aligned for the last century or so?"

Of course they're going to be congratulating each other!

Mr. Inhonores, I think you know me well enough to know that I do not label people as "heathens", to even do so would risk myself being labeled one as I do not follow the orthodox Amarrian faith. Never-the-less, faith, or lack of it, is not enough of a reason for me to dislike or seek violence against a person.

Furthermore, yes, the Knighthood does support Caldari operations just like we support Amarr militia operations. As you well know, however, Amarr militia is not authorized to open fire on the control bunkers.

Once again, capsuleers demonstrate their ignorance of their consequences on the common people, or "baseliners", instead wishing to demonstrate their power and superiority in venues such as these.

The people of Harroule will suffer under foreign military occupation, though I doubt the ruthless Practical corporation CBD will begin planetary operations so quickly this time around. It's funny how much nonsense State loyalists spout about the Intakis being "friends" to the Caldari (despite no cultural similarities), yet are the ones currently ruining their lives with invasion.

Until now, the borders had been restored to their pre-war state, but the State's actions today have given the Federation another reason to continue this war. We thrive in peacetime, nobody wanted this war, but we certainly won't sit idly by as our homes are invaded by corporate profiteers.

The best State has to offer? Based on vitriol from your side I am the worst the State has to offer; a notorious coward who only flies expendable frigates with warp core stabilisers. And back in the day when FDU occupied systems in Black Rise, that certainly didnt seem serve any other purpose than as PR stunt for Inhonores, perhaps for his future career in political office.

But enough of that. Occupancy has nothing to do with my ego. Challenge was issued and we responded, simple as that. As we all know, spatial anomalies can affect occupancy so in theory Harroule could return to federal control in 24 hours.

But such things are irrelevant. StatePro proved your boasts wrong: Despite opposition from FDU & Erian hiring minmatar terrorists & "neutral" capsuleers to help him, we occupied a system in Viriette.

And as far as Inhonores saying about "pre-war" borders. Was it not General Erian who did his best to re-occupy Black Rise after Ladistier fell but was defeated by valiant StatePro pilots? I didnt see you condemming him for such aggression.

As for future, we see what it brings. Certainly my debt of honor to Amarr needs to be paid as their people suffer under minmatar occupancy.

The Amarr certainly need your assistance as obviously they have abandoned their own systems and given priority to supporting the States corporate expansion.

So a Caldari "Heathen" who wanted to stroke his ego seems to care more about the Amarrian people than the Amarrians themselfs, What would god think? If he/she actually existed.

But through all this we have made many more contacts with the FDU and their friends so we look forward to seeing if the state can handle fighting on 2 fronts.

Brigadier Rocarion,

While I will echo the sentiment of well wishes and success to the Empire's allies, I must admit a concern. I do not know you well enough to make a judgment of your personal character, so understand that my inquiry is simply one of sincere curiosity, not of hostile retort.

Your initial report seems to indicate that the entire effort to reclaim Placid is simply an answer to a challenge, one issued specifically against your leadership and those serving under you. Is this the sole purpose for your reoccupation of the region, or is there a greater motivation for you in this?

Those living within the Placid Region would be better served, as a people, with a measure of stability, no matter who is occupying the territory. A constant shift in occupation at the whims and challenges of the opposing militias will only cause further suffering and destruction for the inhabitants of the region.

Am I misunderstanding your report?

In sincerity,

Revenge?
Do we look like... minmatars?

Liberation?
This is just politics. You can apply 'liberation' to almost everything. It's usual gallente excuse for gaining power. And, of course, for gallente electorate. You can vote for or against us - I don't care. Harroule is ours again. Glory to the State!

Boost ego?
Damar is the one who maid this possible, he is the top contributor to our success. Only because of Damar the Caldari flag is hoisted in Placid again. He did great job for the State and Militia, and we all are grateful to him for this.

Why didn't you stop this war, when all your warzone fell to us?
Why didn't you stop this war, when you returned your systems back?

Well, perhaps this then. MENTL has moved to Intaki area now. While this will probably slow us down in Viriette, it has also removed last organised FDU presence in Black Rise. Re-occupying Harroule has thus secured Caldari space to be safe from enemy. Since "Nisuwa posse" has been thorn on our sides for quite some time, I find it hilarious they would show their faces here after years of disinterest towards occupancy wars.

Their presence will also probably be not welcomed by civilian traffic as they are quite notorious on shooting about anything that moves but then again, that applies to most of FDU.

General Inhonores,

You seem to conveniently forget about the formation of Mordu's Legion. It was composed of Intaki that were exiled from the Federation for their support of the Caldari State.

Not only does this demonstrate that at least a number of the Intaki are, in fact, friends of the Caldari but that the "consequences to the common people or 'baseliners'" for siding with the Caldari is banishment from the "freedom and liberty" government of the Federation.

Complaining about "corporate rule of the State" while conveniently ignoring the imposed exile on people that actually supported the Caldari? Congratulations General, you'll make a proper politician yet.

I find it interesting that the Caldari have moved from occupying all of Federation space to occupying Ladistier (which hosts a Presidential Bureau Station), to attempting to take over Intaki THREE TIMES and the entire Viriette Constellation - and nearly doing so within the past few weeks, to occupying Harroule. Admit it, hardly any of you could find Harroule on a star map.

Other Federation systems under threat were brought back from the brink of occupation including Intaki, but of course at the cost of one of the most insignificant systems in all of Federation low sec. I'm sure the people of Harroule, whoever they are, are suffering - or maybe they aren't. Now the Caldari militia moves on to occupy another system which school children can barely find on a map of the Galaxy - Esesier. Maybe they will be succesful there as well. Maybe not. Perhaps the next target on their list is Mantenault, or Alamel.

So here we are. Brigadier General Damar Rocarion's real objective all along has been Intaki, and once again the prized jewel of the occupancy war has been denied. I always wondered why his forces did not more rigorously defend Intaki while they occupied it the first time. Instead, he and that ***** Yuri Intaki disapeared for whatever reason at that critical time. Maybe they will be successful in attaining their goal this time around. Maybe not. Only time will tell.

I wholeheartedly agree!

Unfortunately the region and the Viriette constellation around Intaki finds itself on the front line and has long been coveted by the militias and their allies on both sides of the conflict.

Capsuleers belonging to both militias have in the past, in this very Summit, made public comments and remarks that highlight the fact that they have very little regard to the Viriette Constellation, or the Intaki system in it's own right. They simply see a strategic map with systems labelled one side of the front line or the other and are so blinkered in their efforts to make sure they can lay claim to more than their opponants, they fail to realise that given enough time they'll be squabbling over little more than smouldering rubble.

Mordu's Legion can be something of a double edged reference when debating the tri-partisan relationship between Intaki, Gallente and Caldari.

While the General likes to argue the case that there is no common ground between Intaki and Caldari peoples, I disagree.

In fact if cultural differences mean a relationship between two groups is destined to fail I'd be curious to learn what he thinks of the Federation's future.

But specifically with regards to Mordu's Legion, those Intaki military personnel who sided with the newly created State during the first Gallente-Caldari war did so willingly. They were not exiled as you suggest. I believe you are confusing the original Intaki members of Mordu's Legion with those who were forced from their homes and denied planetary settling rights even outside Federation borders in what has become The Syndicate.

But the State is not without blame when we talk about Mordu's Legion. Indeed their own people turned on those Intaki who had sided with them. It was only after violence occurred that the Legion was formed as the organisation we know today.

No, despite the efforts of both sides to occupy and maintain a hold on Intaki and surrounding systems, both sides have dark stains on their history with the Intaki people. But of course they will rightly point out that this was a long time ago, and the Federation is a different place today, and the State no longer denies the Intaki of Mordu's Legion.

I'd return to your earlier comment regarding what the people of Placid really need, which is an end to the war. They need stability. They need peace.

If only those who hold the reins of both Federation and State and the militia who do their violent bidding could see that, beyond beating the other side into submission.
