That is the bottom line. People who leave to go play with their wind-up toy robots should never be allowed to return to EVE-Online.

Loyalty!

That my friends is what separates the men from the rest of the rabble. Faithfulness to the community and to the idea that is EVE-Online. It is about not abandoning your friends because times get a little tough.

I refuse to just watch as those less worthy of this game jump ship and think it is OK to come back when the choppy waters have passed. These are not the players our spaceship game needs. We need real people with real values. I want to be surrounded by those who think and believe like that. In many ways, this game has changed my life for the better. I have never lost faith in you CCP. You will always have by far the best community any gaming company could ever hope for. I will always be loyal to you and the idea that is CCP and EVE-Online. Do not allow those who jump ship be welcomed back. We do not need, or want them to taint this game again.

Much respect! 07

It's like listening to a foreign guy speak... you know there are words buried in there somewhere, but it's all just a brain melting blur.

Red text, a more than questionable message, talking about EVE players and "values" in the same sentence... must be a troll.

Here's where you're wrong. All that **** that makes CCP and EVE awesome,
will no longer be true if all players are the sheep that you are.
TBH, You and CCP can ruin it all you want. Most of the players who did care can read between Hilmar's lines, and can see the game will never again be the awesomeness that they've experienced, and so are bailing.

Loyalty is meant to be a two-sided thing. Perhaps those who are leaving / have left felt that CCP hadn't kept their side of the bargain?

Yous trolling!

But despite this, I'm afraid my good sir is that you want this game destroyed and broken. You are the one wishing for the game to fail. You are the one happy that CCP skips down the path which will remove its uniqueness. You are the one encouraging CCP to alter a game so it's even easier for a competitor company to have an alternative (or develop a superior game in the not too distance future).

It says more about the players that are standing up to CCP than those with their lips attached to CCP's bum hole. Many of those who have left or who are thinking about leaving or haven't made up their minds but have been burned are to be honest the really loyal guys who feel like they have been a bit betrayed by all this.

Funnily enough, that's what the people who wanted to punch CCP in the face over their last series of idiotic decisions display, and what all the white knights completely failed to adhere to.

So I agree. Kick all the white knights out — if they're loyalty is to a game company that screws over the community and the idea that is EVE Online, they are a cancer that needs to be purged. Those willing to raise their voice against that company and actually display their loyalty to the game and its players, rather than to a bunch of failed managers, are should be rewarded.

Anyone who skipped over to PO should be given 6 months free subs for their service and dedication to the idea of EVE Online.

Those are exactly the players you need, this is a niche game. Given the harsh nature of it we may even have seen the population peak, so if you don't keep what you got, you go downhill.

Damn CCP Zinfandel you either got that monocle for free or your being paid to much.

As for those that left, its their choice they will do whatever they want to do. As for CCP dropping the ball over the Nex shop. Their only human at the end of the day and we all make mistakes. Even really big messy ones.
