Most of the IT pilots that still logged in are in the North right now in either Raiden or NCdot so I don't really see what's changed?

One cannot simply LEARN or TEACH the art of poasting. It's a calling from within.

not to say that the game isnt more dull without bob but gauging it through caod activity is misguided and the hallmark of a bad poster (its you)

I agree, without Molle 0.0 sucks

You know whats funny though, when Bob died almost all Bob corps remained intact with all its players, same thing with IT, I mean Evol has only lost like 2 members but when Goons died (any of the 3 times) and when NC did, more than 90% of their members left.

Yes, the little goonie sycophant horde started dancing like ewoks when IT split up and wasted no time screaming "WE KILLED IT!" in every forum across the land.

Mittani, fancying himself as the modern incarnation of Sun Tzu, wrote a blog-novella entitled "The Art of Nullsec War". In it, he actually tried to assert that the stations the NC (it wasn't just goons in PNQY, folks) took in Fountain and the battles they won against the Fountain Coalition (Black Star, Blade, HUN, and Talos) were the keys to destroying IT.

The truth is that IT disbanded from within. Leaders unable/unwilling to agree decided to part ways and it was over. The forum leaks that goon spies published everywhere (replete with masturbatory annotations from goons) clearly showed this to be the case.

The Battle of 6VDT didn't break IT Alliance. One of the largest corporations in the alliance chose to leave before a single system in Fountain even fell. If any credit is due to the NC at all here, it is merely a slight acceleration to what was already going to happen as soon as any threat large enough to warrant capital ship deployment showed up at the borders.

Now those same corporations are still out there with the same goals. Unshackled from the old bureaucracy, they are pursuing those goals and the North is burning.

Is anyone actually surprised by this?

The Goons always cried into their cheerios that the IT Alliance was a great evil which represented a type of hegemony that would kill 0.0 forever. The fact that they did this while helping to build the largest NAP Powerbloc in the history of Eve Online is testament to their belief in transparent propaganda.

When the DRF was at the doorstep of Geminate and it was clear that they were coordinating with the Former IT Corps, Evoke, and PL, the same cry went up: It'll ruin the game if they win!

Again, is anyone surprised by this?

Let me check off the cliches:

1) Didn't want that space empire anyway. Check.
2) Enemy didn't accomplish anything, we were already disintegrating and thus you accomplished nothing. Check.
3) Unshackled from yadda yadda yadda. Check.
4) It was all someone else's fault. Check.
5) Dem ebil goonies. Check.
6) Yay we hitched our wagons to something that isn't failing miserably for once, which only succeeded because someone ELSE failed even more miserably. Check.
7) Star Wars reference. Check. No WW2, though...I'm disappointed.
8) No mention of PL's super fleet influence; it's all Braveheart **** every day and every night against overwhelming odds. Check.

Only to be replaced by the RMT corps of the DRF, which control more space than NC or IT ever did. Yes, I can clearly see the difference.

Same ****, different toilet.
