The PLEX reward option for the Buddy Program will be going on temporary hiatus as of July 7th. This means no new PLEX based invites can be sent after that date. This is a planned part of the experiment to measure the effects of the program on the PLEX market and to find new ways in which we can evolve the Buddy Program for our players. The program looks to be very successful initially and will likely return within a few months.

Players can still send Buddy invites normally after July 7th, but the only reward option will be 30 days of game time; as before.

FMAQ (Four More Apropos Questions)
Q. What happens if Ive already sent a Buddy invite with PLEX as a reward?
If your invitee converts, then you still get awarded a PLEX. Invites sent as PLEX remain PLEX reward invites.

Q. When do my sent invites expire?
Never. If you have invitees, encourage them to take up EVE at any time using that invite.

Q. Will you be offering different Buddy rewards in the future?
Quite likely; yes. We hope to expand the Buddy Program later this year with more options. Were even hoping to open up Buddy style recruiting directly for Player Corporations at some time.

Q. What are valid options for converting the Buddy invite to paid status?
From the Terms and Conditions on the Buddy Program page.
* Eligible subscription activations can be funded by Credit/Debit cards, WebMoney Transfer, paysafecard, ETC, PLEX, iDeal and PayPal.
* Payments not eligible for this offer: Direct Debit, CD Keys, including CD Keys purchased or received from non-CCP sources and online stores such as, but not limited to: Steam Store, Direct2Drive, Gamers Gate, Impulse Driven.
