I begin to understand why you are on the front lines of the war and not the CEO of one of the State's megacorporations or involved in diplomatic affairs of any kind. No doubt the State has discovered you are most efficient when speaking with ammunition and not with words.

Unfortunately, I can't reach with my guns to every enemy of the State, that's why you can see me here Rolling Eyes I hope they will let capsuleers to face each other in stations too, this will change everything. I think it is something with atmosphere, but technical teams should solve it someday.

Why does the State think it has any right to acquire those resources for its own use in the first place? I'm not aware of any Caldari actually answering this question. Because you can? Because you enjoy creating opportunities to use your red hot iron?

Why so grim notions about Caldari?
About these resources, the problem is, that they now belong to Gallente Federation. Anytime they can come and claim them to use against us. It is our duty to take them away from Federation and put in use against them instead.
You see, it's not about 'we want them', or 'we can take them', or to do any harm to natives. We mean no harm to anybody except our enemies. We fight for our home.

Diana Kim represents only one side of the Caldari State, and she does not speak for all of us. Not every Caldari is out to seek the total annihilation of the Federation, I would think someone such as yourself would know this by now.

Well, you right, I do not speak for everyone. You can call me brutal, provist's dog, or whatever - I do not care, I just do my service to the State by eliminating enemies. But please do not apply word "us", when you speak about Caldari State. You can't use it after your corporation betrayed the State and began active military actions against us.

Diana Kim has made it clear through her words that she is an enemy to the Intaki people.

Mr. Tafren, I never said or meant to be enemy of Intaki people. Unless you want to become like Mr. Andrus Ixiris, please do not claim that I said things that I haven't said.

The Intaki people was not, are not, and never will be my enemy or enemy of the State. Our enemy is the Federation, our enemies are pirats, and those who are fighting with them against us. Should any of Intaki pilots join to them - only he will become enemy. Should any Intaki corporation commit crimes against the State - only it will become enemy. And all Intaki can't and won't pay for their actions. Moreover, many Intaki have joined the State and fighting on our side. You see, Intaki people just can't be neither my, nor our enemy.

Are you still talking about Placid with invasion on your mind?
I'd say the facts go more along the lines of: If you hadn't lost so many battles we'd be fighting this war deeper in Black Rise.
See? It is moot.
Hostilities in these regions started on both sides.
What led to it does not matter for this particular discussion. We'd have different point of views and therefore different opinions on that anyhow.

I don't have to try. The State has already done a very good job befouling its own name.

Really? In my lifetime I have had naught but this supposed one side of the Caldari State from which to draw experience. It seems to persist everywhere. Diana Kim is the absolute worst representative the rest of you could ever dread to have. She does you no favors.

But if any alternate side of the State does exist, I gladly invite you and the rest of your silent compatriots to speak up and outshine Diana in an attempt to prove it to me.

Diana Kim's statements are of her own and do not represent the official stance of Caldari Militia.

This is rather rich coming from you, considering how often you spew your own agenda of returning Intaki to Caldari control.

Because the State produces people like you.

There are just so many things wrong with this attitude I don't know where to begin. Even supposing you were in any way correct that the Federation might want to use these resources in aggression against the State, why are you so narrow-minded that you have to believe the only way to prevent such a theoretical act is by aggressing first? Why is violence the only answer for you? Why isn't it your duty to find some way to coexist with the Federation? Oh, they hurt the Caldari first, so you are justified in hurting the Gallente back? On and on, a vicious cycle. Korsavius wants me to believe there is good in the State. Why do you insist on proving him wrong?

You have every right to fight for your home when fighting is warranted. The problem is the State decided my home was somehow relevant to that interest, so now you force me to fight for my home, and in so doing, you cause harm to it.

Fight for your home on your own turf, not in my backyard.

You don't have to specifically say you are an enemy of the Intaki people to be considered one by those of us who find your statements about and actions with respect to our homeworld and its sovereign space abhorrent. It is too late for you to backpedal.

and also did everythink possible to not secure it properly.

Incorrect. The Intaki system is low-security by agreement in the Federation's founding charter.

I'd be interested to read more on this as it's not the first time I've heard this.

I was of the understanding that the entire security rating mechanic was a CONCORD system whether applied to regions of space, such as the Intaki system, or to individual capsuleers.

On this topic, I was reviewing news archives and ran across this report from some years back which clearly indicates CONCORD has jurisdiction over system security status. Of note:

Quote:
...the Amarr Navy has assigned more ships to routine patrol in Sarum Prime space, sending Concord bureaucrats scrambling to change the system's official security status to accurately represent the strength of Navy forces currently stationed there.

The status change, which is expected to go through sometime during the next few days, will bump Sarum Prime into a new official security category, which means that the system's inhabitants will have to adjust to new regulations and stricter security measures than before.

Ok, your referral to events which occurred over three years ago is really quite absurd and ridiculous. Every nation has made their fair shares of mistakes in the past, I don't think I need to mention those of the Federation.

As for your second point, your lack of awareness rather surprises me considering you live in a nation with such easy access to various well-known communications channels. If you ever bothered to keep up with recent events you would be well aware that organizations such as I-RED and Dyishi Enterprises have made several peaceful strides towards improving relations between the State and the Federation. Of course given that these attempts are peaceful, major news agencies such as the Scope don't take much heed to them as news agencies only seem interested in reporting the aggressive advances of State Protectorate forces and the pirate elements who reside within it.

On another note, I-RED frequently conducts anti-pirate patrols around the Placid and adjacent regions to better the safety for travelers of such areas. Basically, many of the liberal Caldari speak with their actions and not so much their words as Provists such as Diana Kim do. You've shown a lack of knowledge of the situation so I think I am done here.

Rikaato.

Regardless of the calendar date, I simply felt the example I picked was a rather poignant one, and picking that one over others really has nothing to do with your assumption that I am ignorant of more recent events. Certainly other empires have made, and continue to make, mistakes as well. This doesn't excuse actions by any of them, whether past or present.

I will grant you this, and admit I misspoke earlier when I stated I'd never had exposure to the State other than the poor examples reported in the media and set by pilots like Diana Kim. But this should highlight to you how easily your efforts are overshadowed by your own people and do more damage to public perception of the State than any Intaki, Gallente, or anyone else ever could.

Improving relations between Federation and the State by signing treaties with Federation military forces and fight together with them against the State?
