Folks, I am writing from my iPad in a cafe so please excuse my brevity.

The statements will be out as soon as possible. A component of the current rage has been caused by communications errors by CCP, and demanding a rushed out statement is just asking them to repeat that mistake.

You want clear statements. Clear statements take a little extra time. I know you are all anxious to hear the results, but please cut the CSM (and CCP) a little slack here.

Thanks,
Trebor

Umm no at his point there will be no slack or at least not more than needed for you to properly hang yourself. In truth it does not take time to make an honest factual statement on what has transpired. It takes time to write something skirting around that which while true you may not want revealed because of the reaction it may cause. The longer it takes for a statement to be made the worse it is going to look and the more people will pick it apart. Enough is enough here and I am tired of all the speculating and bull make a statement on what you know already. Address the major issues at hand and if needed say there will be a more complete and encompassing statement made later. This way folks can go ahead and get on with things instead of waiting to hear the one thing that will influence how they continue or not in the game.

How hard is to answer a "yes or no" question?

Are we gonna be told about japanese jeans again?

This is not Shakespeare you are writing and your evasion is not reassuring.

Also funny how "shortly" turned into "sometime not today"

No we don't, and no we haven't. But whatever.

I'm honestly amazed that anyone has any faith whatsoever in the CSM. But given the number of people scammed in this game on a daily basis, I guess a little intelligence from the player base is too much to hope for.

i don't want to read some wall of text bringing up the same excuses again ("communications" blabla - sooo beaten to death allready; ccp internal missunderstandings, beach of trust or other IRRELEVANT talking).
JUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS IN A SHORT AND CLEAR SENTENCES.
nobody cares if you liked what ccp showed you - since all interssting stuff it locked down by that NDA chestity belt anyways.
JUST ANSWER THE GODDAMNED QUESTIONS.

They've put way too many miles on that excuse already, and it is disappointing - though not unsurprising - to hear the CSMs dutifully parroting it.

That is SO SO SO true.

So show the ""error"" in "no microtransactions" .....time..... *poof* microtransactions.
or
"no plans for non-vanity microtransactions" ....time.... *poof* ...

So hold on a minute! The CSM are technically there to get our rage across to CCP, sort this mess out and get a concise answer to the main question!

So why is it the CSM cant just come to the forum and make a post about the outcome of the meeting?

Have CCP told the CSM they cant post about it? if so then surely the CSM are a waste of time!

Grow a set of balls CCP, give us the answer.

All we need is a 'yes' or 'no' simple.

Thanks for tapping a note Trebor. Can we please have something more specific than "as soon as possible"? Are we looking at Saturday? Sunday? Monday?

The question is not just an issue of impatience, but some alliances, corps and players are unsubbed and not logging in as a form of protest, so normal weekend ROAMS and activities are on hold awaiting your (CCP and CSM) "promised" announcement.

Can you give us some kind of indicator? Give us something worthwhile to go on? Will the response satisfy the big question? Please give us something here that is helpful instead of just asking for something more of us.

Dex was here. Cool

Really? Please drop the charade Trebor.

"Yes, there will be non-vanity items in Nex store eventually" or
"No, there will not ever be non-vanity items in the Nex store"

How hard is this? Why do you require so much time to express a simple thought, when you know that is what the source of player rage is all about?
No ship spinning, the stupid nex prices, those are just a annoyance. The real player rage didn't start until the possibility of non-vanity items was revealed.
It's a simple yes or no question, and shouldn't require a day or a neatly crafted statement to answer.

This is a YES OR NO question, it isn't some political speech. How about you actually answer the question that you know is in the minds of all those players who are angry with CCP? It should be simple. Yes or no?

You can bet your Monocle that CCP have told the CSM's not to post until CCP give the nod

This to me, proves that the Csm's are not separate from CCP, thats why we have to wait for a joint statement, which is strange when the Csm's say thier statement is ready

Clear statements take no extra time at all. You just write down how things are. Architected, deceiving statements are thoose that take time to come up with to cover what could have been a clear statement instead.

In other news, I had fun in Perpetuum today. Havn't found much PvP yet, but the market-, skill- system and the economy reminds of EVE. One major difference there is that the GM's are actually active ingame, talking to players, providing feedback and help.

Somehow I remember that happening somewhere.. sometime.. OH RIGHT THAT WAS IN EVE, WHEN I STARTED THIS GAME. But now, they're just silent. And delaying. And lying. And hiding behind CSM (occationally blaming them).

When did they become so scared of us, the players? We used to be their friends.. Confused

Could be many reasons, why they're taking so long.
They want to pad out what they've done to make it look more.
They need to sugar coat the crap, to make it taste better.
They have utterly failed and can't face people.

YES doesn't need context...simple as that. YES = p2w items, something we ALL KNOW in what flavor they come in, if you require context play some MT games out there, plenty around.

P.S. a GM even welcomed me in person (he convoed me) in perpetuum...now that was some funny strange cusotmer care stuff Laughing

As I understand it the English statement is ready for release NOW and we are waiting for a German and Russian translation to be made.

I have never noticed CCP making translated versions of any announcements previously and whilst I can understand that due to the seriousness of the current situation they wish to translate it I see no reason why they cannot release the English version now and follow up with the translations tomorrow.

I'm sure many German and Russian speaking players also speak English as a second language and would like to hear something today too.
