Yeah...make us wait longer. That's a great ****ing strategy because it's already worked so well.

Actually it's just slightly better than releasing another :sh!tblog: (tm) on the weekend and having sat/sun consumed by riots and forum rage. This whole thing is about damage control.

Then tell us when it WILL be out...not when it won't. Don't leave us hanging and don't chuck it in a drawer over the weekend. It's not going to be okay until Monday. (though I agree with what you're saying I'm tired of waiting and another unspecified period of no information doesn't help)

For a lot of players, that's not gonna happen. When you believe in a community and in a dev team for years, and you learn in a few days that the people you put your trust and money are planning to milk you dry and dont give a fu** about the game itself... well, that's it.

MMO are more than just games. It's also about people trust, etc...

Eve is getting old because there hasnt been any major update since 3-4 years. And we wont get one any time soon.

Wake up. It's over already.

Amazing!

Good post, and the subtle truth in it's simplicity makes it that much more tragic.

CSM = That dog won't hunt.

"One day you'll look back at the game the CSM has created, and say..."

"Nice goin', f*g." "You really made the game a better place, didn't ya f*g?"

i'd rather them delay releasing CCP and CSM's response till tommarrow and make sure there are clear consice answers to everything and no more misconceptions

You know what I was against the riot, all the idiocy, all the whine, and was all about wait and see. I mean come on folks it was all about hearsay and suspicion not current fact so I figured why not have fun and wait till it was fact before I reacted because there was no use getting all riled up over nothing. But this ticks me off. While I was not waiting on the edge of my seat for the results of this meeting most EVE players were. Many are holding off on canceling subscriptions, continued riots, or whatever until they get the information that comes from this meeting. In other words folks are not playing the game and enjoying themselves but rather on pins and needles waiting to hear what must be said. This adversely affects me and my gaming and as such is now an issue. I know it can take a couple hours to translate a document into several languages but to not come out with a response shortly after meetings end is the wrong thing to do. We deserve a statement now each and every player whether they are concerned or not about the future of this game so that those who are waiting on the results can act upon them and the game can continue instead of being in a holding pattern. CCP can afford to wait and spin this or make sure what they say is clear cut because we all know they will do whatever they want as they answer to the stockholders but the CSMs answer to us the players and we demand a response from them.

I propose if a statement from the CSMs who were in attendance is not issued soon impeachment proceedings due to a lack of confidence in their ability to properly represent us the players should be the next course of action. For those not in attendance I understand this is just a game and life takes precedence however you do need to justify why you were unable to fulfill your duties as a CSM or step down and let another take your place as well.

"We will (not) add P2W."

Believe it or not, that sentence took me about 3-4 sec to write.

Yep, it's all about how you tell things, not at all about what you do -_-

That's funny, same for me. Hence they were the first to be made. As a direct translation (google translate ftw) they do quite nicely and are correct, the translator can't (ofcourse) convey the correct background in regards to p2w.

Why impeach, really? Is there any reason to believe that this CSM could be replaced with better, more useful members? Has there ever been a particularly good CSM? I don't recall one.

CSM should be dissolved, imo. The organization is worse than useless.

I seriously wonder if CCP dragging this out so long is to be able to provide some quarterly report and still paint the picture in a positive light rather than what it would be when the final word comes down?

The can say "We've implemented P2W successfully without any significant drop in active player counts...." all while they've been pushing out updates to Incarna that, while not stated as such, specifically seem to be gearing aspects of the game for "Iwinbuttons"....skills not applying correctly, mod attributes not working correctly, etc. It all points to them fiddling with sh*t for which there's no content to coincide with the fiddling.

It isn't easy to spawn things into the game, without creating lag. You don't want the server lagged out while the CSMs get their "thank you".

I wonder if a re hash of the statement is being made

I can understand that alot rides on this statement but delaying it and making us wait isn't helpfull

But ... did he get us ponies? Sparkle ponies damn it! Anything short of this is frankly a sham, wasted effort and a PR dog-and-pony show aimed at pleasing the press, confusing ATI graphics card PGU's and most importantly: breaking the hearts of small fuzzy kittens every where.

Of course - perhaps they didn't bend him over the desk and start laying pipe and that's why he's pleased...
