I just bought a monocle from steam ... Well, alien wearing monocle. Its called Mayhem Intergalactic. 5 bux instead of 20 bux. Cheapest monocle ever bought. You should check out the description, lawl. |

no no, you got it all wrong. it's a 30mm Gatling cannon with wings and a cockpit attached.  also, it looks like that plans for replace it for the F-35 were delayed until at least 2028. which is good. F-35 might be a nice multi-purpose jet, but doesn't beat the A-10 on CAS. |

tell me about it. just spent almost 6€ on Call of Prypiat and Clear Sky  but at least now I have all Shadow of Chernobyl games. |

Fate of the World is a very nice game in a fairly neglected genre, on sale for about $5.
Its a world management sim set in the year 2020. Environmental disasters are becoming more common and everything's kinda going to pieces. You're appointed the head of a new body called the GEO. You play various cards in different regions to represent different policies such as Nuclear Fuel Subsidies, One Child Policies and Educational Investment. Each scenario has a specific objective such as keeping global temperatures below a certain level or raising a region's development index. And you have to manage your funds and your popularity in each region or they just boot you out. Its played in turns of 5 years and ends in 2200.
It seems quite well researched and not especially biased towards either green energy or nuclear power. And the range of policy options range from the benign(green energy tech, conservation programmes) to the draconian(AI killbots keeping the local population underfoot, secret sterilisation programs, gene plagues). There's even a scenario where you have to screw up the planet as badly as possible. |

Left 4 Dead 2 is on sale now. I highly recommend it. It is a refreshing change from most shooters and playing a series of games online with other people is pleasurable because you either help each other or die. For added mojo, try completing a campaign using just a saucepan - I have! |
