I was just wondering, if anyone has had any luck doing this? How long did it take, how hard was it? I am interested to see how much they changed to make it possible :)

Tested a 93m sig / 94.6 ladar Loki with 4 of my corp members probers. The 3 with level 4 skills, sisters gear and in a covops were UNABLE to get a hit - maxed out at about 68%.

The guy with level 5 skills, in a covops and a full virtue set was able to get a warpable hit with 7 probes at 0.5au range - he had to jiggle them about a bit to get the 100%. With 8 probes he probably would have got 100% on his first 0.5au pass.

Nah a fair bit longer than that, as I was at a safe off of dscan from all celestial's, so he had to start with a 32au to get an idea of positioning, and then of course had to drill down to 0.5 au to get a hit.

I think if your boosting/missioning then you have plenty of time to be aware of probes, and if you must take it down to the wire then setting dscan range down to 2 or even 1 au and waiting on probes to appear in that range is pretty safe - note I'm not advocating leaving dscan at this range while missioning/boosting, but using it to maximise whatever time you need to spend uncloaked.

Its not such a huge deal for boosters as we can cloak at any time, bit more of a pain for missioners as they cant cloak with rat aggro and will need to warp out, wait for probes to disappear and start again.

Edit to answer your OP - I think they have made it possible but not easy - I would go so far as to say that if its a non bonused ship probing that they wont get a hit even with a virtue set

Always wonder what the avg pilot took to scan down v. the old theoretical max scan ratio.
