I take my 5% from that fact that 10k from the unsub topic are unsubbing. I also take that there is a 300k sub base. If those numbers are roughly correct, then it is 3.33%, and I'm overestimating.

I feel 5% is a coverall number. You can hope all you like it is much higher, but your numbers don't add up.

360,000 subs according to the financials no?

What we have seen is the knee-jerking unsubs. There is still the pole-dancer unsubs in a day or so and during patching..

Then there is the last light on unsubbers to follow as the game becomes meh due to lack of population.

I unsubbed my 4 accounts today. I was on 6-month auto renew, so my accounts don't actually go inactive for 2-5 months. There is still time for CCP to bring me back as a player.... But it is going to take a major change in direction!

Incarna has been coming coming for years. Why the surprise now? (rhetorical question)

Why now?

Actually seeing how SUCK CQ really is. Resource sucking, useless waste of man decades of developer time.

Actaully seeing the infrastructre in place for microtransactions.

YET ANOTHER release with none of the stuff that players and CSMs have been asking for.

A leaked memo about how they are going to cram MT down our pie holes whether we like it or not!

The reason we do not provide more "meat" yet is because we agreed to keep the chatter to a minimum until we had a chance to discuss all the issues and get back to you with a clear global picture on everything pertaining to the situation at hand.

We've been pressing pretty hard for answers on things when CCP wasn't clear enough to my taste. Overall things are progressing positively, but tomorrow is the real test...

I posted a blog update that may not provide anything but impressions, but my general stance and attitude of not compromissing (unless I have very good reason to) should provide an indication as to where this is going.

Have no doubt the concerns that have been voiced so vehemently are being represented.

When do we get CCP Points to spend every month, or purchase.

Like Turbine points or Cryptic Points.

Will they implement NON-VANITY items or not?

What the **** is wrong with that question? Maybe I should speak Icelandic so someone can understand that question..

I agree. Actually, it would also be nice if working for Loyalty Points earned us some Aurim on the side.

Perhaps they can also let the Exchange run a lottery - one per region - that would give players a chance to win some Aurim or cosmetic items.

I belive they are thick at this stage to still post the same drivel about "optional" Incarna.

The business decision has been made, CSM stated that it was a "communication breakdown" that caused all you hopefulls to keep posting your drivel about "optional" Incarna.

That communication is being cleared up now, I think they are going to use sock puppets (CSM) to present it in easy bite sizes (baby spoons) for your consumption.

Business decisions have been reversed before. Remember New Coke? Hundreds of millions dumped into advertising and the entire thing was scrapped due to a refusal of the customer. We can force CCP to change this. Period. Full stop.

Don't make purchases from the Noble Exchange. Don't buy PLEX. Reduce or cancel the number of accounts you have active, etc. Monetary losses will force policy changes. Incarna discouraged me from activating a second account, paying for a year in advance for the one account I have open, and buying a few PLEX this month. Now multiply decisions like that over several thousand accounts.

Read what the CCP standfast message really said. If the players say FU with their mouths only we stay the course. If they say FU w/ their wallets...

If enough of the Eve playerbase treats Incarna/Noble Exchange like New Coke; it will go away.

I'm starting to think I'm the only person who doesn't give a damn what they charge for vanity virtual goods. To me, even discussing (much less getting passionate over) the pricing of them was a waste of time. CCP can charge whatever they like for their monacles and pants as long as they keep it from being game impacting.

Really shocked to hear that we are stuck with CQ.

This, pretty much, except for the shock part. If you can skip CQ there's no reason for you to buy virtual goods, so why exactly would CCP leave ship-spinning in again?

As for pricing: Price the vanity goods low enough and I might buy something. I'm more likely to buy something high-priced if it stands a reasonable chance of being an isk-maker for me, and I don't think virtual space monocles and jeans really count. :)

I think people are expecting to much for the first day of "talks" remember this was just the first day of talks with CCP, I personally say we need to know more before flying of the deep end so to speak. I think it's time for cooler heads and reason to pervale.

Chill until the CSM is done taking ord... talking to CCP? CCP controls what the CSM says anyways - that NDA could say ANYTHING, and I don't really believe in the CSM. The first day of talks? What did they bring back to the community? NOTHING but "we can't disclose anything at this point". What's the secret? What's the big surprise?

I've heard a few former and current CSM members mention CCP has run player intended communications by them first, so as not to say something that would get the player base enraged ( which CCP has proven themselves VERY capable of doing ). This may be another one of those cases. Between NDA and an already angered game population it may in fact be a case of: we want to say 'this' and how do we not shoot ourselves the the foot and the ass again...

I for one am glad to see CCP engaging in frank and open discussion with their elected community representatives. It's obvious CCP and the CSM know what all the fuss is about and whether the rage is warranted or not. Looking forward to a positive outcome.

^^^ Optimist?

From the complete lack of actual information, you can only assume he is not being allowed to discuss the particulars, because they aren't what people want to hear.

Which pretty much says to me that they have no intention of changing anything, so it will be full speed ahead and damn the citadel torps. Laughing

I wish you all luck in your Evewow future. ;-)

CCP won't drop the idea of MT. Period. If you are thinking otherwise, you're kidding yourself. After all that work, they're just going to drop it because <5% of the sub base is crying over it? Errrr, no.

If it is only 5%, they you are probably correct. Personally, I hope it is much more. Enough more to get CCP to change their minds. Otherwise, I'm going to miss this game.

Every friend that I have ever played MMO with wants MT. Maybe my crowd is full of working professionals who works really long hours and want to just have some fun without the grinding. Yes, yes, we want the quick and easy path which leads to the darkside.

For us MT is like a fresh box of golf balls. Yeah, we're going to loose them but who cares, it's only $15 bucks!!

You'll have fun blowing up our golden ships. I promise.
