Its becoming clear that CCP intends WiS to be treated as a separate but inter connected game like Dust. It offers an opportunity to raise revenue using MT via the PLEX system while serving as a test bed for Carbon and the underlying code and mechanics for WoD (basically a win win for CCP).....

CCP wants us to treat it as part of eve so they can claim they are still working on eve. But incarnatransactions is clearly just an opportunity for them to get walking characters for WOD and an opportunity to squeeze more money out of eve players with mt.

When will they assign more devs to the actual eve game we play with spaceships? Because that is the first step for them getting out an expansion that doesn't suck.

Team Gridlock have delivered some genuinely good work on lag. I'm seeing fights with 200 + in local, fighters out, on unreinforced nodes, with essentially no lag. That's a good result, and regardless of the foot-in-mouth antics of certain people at CCP, Gridlock deserve props.

I know that there's a fair old list of stuff that needs looking at on the game design front- Faction Warfare, to name the most obvious one - but right now, the straight up boat-violencing part of EVE is in as good a state as it has ever been. Kind of sucky for pure Gallante-spec'd pilots, but there's always 1 gimp race.

The thing is you don't need to grind for SP. you don't need to grind for a ship by just buying a PLEX. Why the <censored/> change it then?

Training is too slow. I want remaps and training accelerators. And gold/platinum ammo so I can cheat my way through complexes. Yes, yes, I know that will ruin the game, blah, blah, blah. I still want it.

The update. once again, fills me with dread that the CSM truely fails reflects the views of the community.

Passionate debate about the price of vanity items? Seriously!

Sell as many vanity items as people are prepared to part with cash for. It is inconsequential to gameplay how many vanity items there are or their price.

Its a shame ship spinning has gone, but not game breaking, and has little impact on gameplay. CQ is the first stage of a much larger plan, and as CCP has chose to drip feed unfinished product (WiS) into their game, a predictable result of confused and under value has occurred.

There is still no definitive answer to pay2win... the key issue!

Last chance for CSM to prove its worth...

Raven, if that's your attitude, just leave. We don't need crybabies in the game anyway. Cause what are you achieving? Posting on a forum wasting time you can be outside in the sun? Playing a game you hate. Commenting on changes that won't occur. Commenting on a game you hate? That defies all rational sense. Then again, most of the protesters aren't exactly the definition of rational...

LOL. If you can't read between the lines, please don't bother commenting at all :) But, let me explain this to you anyway since I'm bored out of my skull, and I like to educate CCP alts on what some players feel.

There's still a slight chance that CCP will come to their senses. I will cancel all my subscribtions the second they announce other than vanity-items in the NEX store, yes, but I will wait until the last possible moment. I'm loyal to EvE/CPP, and I'm loyal to the work I put into my toons. I like that relationsship to be mutual with CCP, and I'm ready to do my part... Also, I like my corp, my alliance and the people there - they've been good sports and big part of my time the last couple of years. Should I throw that away on some F'ed up emo-rage? Nah - you can't have my stuff - sry bro'...

But yes, I am MAD, and I want to influence CCPs descisions as much as I can. I'm yelling 'cause I care :)

GO TO JITA AMARR AND ANY OTHER TRADE HUB.

BLOCK IT CLOSE THE STAR GATES.

WHEN TRAFFIC BUILDS UP OUT SIDE THE SYSTEM.

TAKE AS BS LOADED WITH SMARTIES AND BANG.

OVERWHELM THEM WITH PETITIONS.

IF YOUR GOING TO DO IT DO IT BIG

All this does is screw up the game for everyone, a pathetic idea at best and harassment of players and therefore a bannable offence at worst.

Is PvP a bannable offense? I never realized it was harrassment to blow someone elses ship up.

C&P: RE: station View

I think what annoys people most is that it's not even an OPTION. I'm not talking about turning CQ off in the settings, that's already there... and we get a horrible picture of a door. What is reasonable and realistic, is to be able to dock in your ship and still be in your ship while in the station if you're just quickly making some adjustments....for example, you need to fit an extra hardener or drop off some loot, or why not, admire your sexy ship and spin it a few times!

From a Practical and immersive point of view....as it is, doesn't work at the moment

I've said it so many times, but, you should be able to exit your ship from the station view and enter the captains quarters. This, Just for the people that want to walk in the station, sit on the sofa and other pointless activities. Each to their own.

Does that sound like something that should happen? I honestly don't think CCP are taking this particular issue seriously. It's getting buried under all the monocle and MT talk.

Turn around time when mining is crap.
Used to have 2 hulks mining, orca bck to base empty holds/hangers, and back before hulk was full.
Now can only use 1 hulk plus orca, and then have to turn strippers off and wait

It may be as good as ever but it could be improved allot. The game as it is, takes hours to find a decent pvp fight. (the fight will only last about 3 minutes) Eve involves allot of boring downtime even when you are all fit up and ready for battle. That could be improved if they really focused the devs on it.

There are allot of people in this world who would like eve's combat mechanics and risk/reward, yet can't dedicate huge portions of their lives to a computer game. Instead of tapping into that population CCP is preying on those who are hopelessly addicted to the game by charging them for virtual clothing.

3 ****ing words say so much.

ok you jita protesters. go home back to your level 4 missions.

You do realize that the things that please Mittens (and the Goons) are not always in the best interests of EVE players in general?

I'm well aware.

However anyone who's paid attention to the ballot he ran on and the lines he's drawn in the sand in terms of what he would or wouldn't want to see in His or Goon's EVE will quickly translate those three words into quite a telling story.
