I have just spent 18 days training Advanced Spaceship Command V instead of Industrial Command Ship V.

What I'd like to know is am I the only one who is this stupid or has this sort of thing happened to anyone else?

I once flew to Jita to buy my first ever brand new falcon, having trained all of the electronic and jamming skills up to level 5.

Only to realise I hadnt trained the Recon skill, even to level 1.

Back when I was a noob who loved mining I trained my alt to fly a Freighter, specially a Charon. The idea was I'd park the Freighter by my Hulk and happily mine for ages. This was also before the time of the Orca.

Little did I know a Freighter cannot take items from normal jettisoned cargo containers and the only way I found this out was the hard way; After I had bought the 800mil Freighter and completed my first mining cycles in my Hulk.

I soon realized I wouldn't be needing the Charon so much, and a couple weeks later sold it.

Does specializing in heavy missiles and Nighthawks count? As it's pontless outside PVE. And I have HML spec V, command ships V, and about everything else at V. So currently the only 2 ships I can fly almost perfectly are Drake and NH, and everything else is just above average at best. (Oh and Tengu's didn't exist back in the day, and Drakes were just introduced right when I graduated from cruisers so I kept with that style of play)

I'm probably way stupider. I've trained 35 million skillpoints in Spaceship Command, Gunnery and Navigation skills, and rumor has it that I never leave the station! Wink

Just last week I planed out what I needed to get into an Orca and was like "Awesome, I have just enough to get the ship, and just need to train a couple of leadership skills" just to realize a few days later I didn't account for the cost of the Cap Industrial ship skill book itself which means I am short.

Luckily just a few missions and I'll be fine.
