So you fix something that has a slim chance of happening and dont fix something thats 100% certain to happen LIKE the fact that running 1 eve client now heats my rig by 9 degrees (WTF) more than 2 crisis clients?

- when docked, we don't see the station owner displayed any longer (since Incarna). It used to be displayed in the top right, but as long as it's visible, it wouldn't need to be as prominent as it was before - as long as you display it, please.

- the amount of ISK(yeah, and AUR) is still displayed in the right part of the wallet window. This is totally un-intuitive (not just unfamiliar) - please change it back. If you really want the option to have it there, make it an option, please.

May I ask what exactly do we get for griping here? It's not like CCP is giving us any feedback or answers to our problems, like the fact that I'm still getting stuck on bulk 67/86, and so are many others. More and more I have this nagging feeling that the attitude is: "If you don't like what's happening, just quit Eve." It really is sad considering this is such a great game(most days) and now it is crap, due to a lack of feedbackugh

"Stack all" option. Again.

Previously (that is: already in the broken state), the "Stack all" option selected the stack it used at random, rather than the first available in the hangar. This made sorting items quickly almost impossible.

Now, it selects the stack it uses at random - and then sorts everything by type automatically, making sorting completely impossible.


Is it so difficult to make this option select the first stack in the hangar, stack to that, and if there's no stack available, leave the modules/items where they are?

If you're suffering from getting stuck at acquiring bulkdata when trying to login to the game, please follow the following instructions:

1) Download the bulkdata_1.0.1.zip file from: http://content.eveonline.com/data/bulkdata_1.0.1.zip
2) Extract the files located in the zip file to Bulkdata folder located under the EVE installation folder. Default locations:

Windows XP/Vista/7 32bit: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\bulkdata
Windows XP/Vista/7 64bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bulkdata
Steam client Windows XP/Vista/7 32bit: c:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\common\EVE Online\bulkdata
Steam client Windows XP/Vista/7 64bit: c:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\EVE Online\bulkdata

3) Once the file has been extracted, start the EVE client (do not login yet).
4) Press ESC or click on the Settings button and go to the 'Reset Settings' tab and click on the 'Clear' button for 'Clear all cache files'
5) The client will prompt you to restart the client, click yes on that prompt
6) Once the client has been restarted login normally.

When docked my ship is no longer shown in the CQ. Changed ships, docked/undocked, still isn't showing. Even tried a different station. I can't even 'not' spin my ship now Confused wth



EDIT: Clearing the cache fixed it.

I don't usually complain or post much in these threads but I feel I must say something here. I am running Eve on a pc consisting of an asus crosshair III mobo with an AMD 955 quad core, 8 gigs of ddr3 and 2 ATI hd4870's in crossfire on a 6 meg internet connection. There is no reason I should be having the kind of trouble Im having with your latest patch. The cq in station causes my cards to jump to 99% on the activity monitor in catalyst control center and they very quickly reach overheated status and shut down eventually. I have spoken to many other players running ATI and AMD gear who say they are having the exact same issues.

I don't understand how you can call this a success,a marvel or a "pinnacle of professionalism" when half your player base can't even run it safely any more!

If you can't do better than this I will have no choice but to cancel all 6 subs I currently have just for the simple reason of equipment preservation.

Please address this asap or you will find yourself in the pages of history as a great game that died due to reaching too far too fast. Your developing the game faster than the players can keep up. My hardware runs better in codmw2 and Crysis 2 than it does in Eve now, that is unacceptable.

Getting alot of flashing as the client starts up, also having an issue where the client stops responding completely for 3-6 seconds at every jump.

nice one CCP you didnt fix the fact that the mac client doesnt remember item/ship window sizes, everything else is fine but this is bloody annoying, also loading things in pos hangers is awfully slow now

Well looks like overview, selected item and drone list are randomly replacing themselves again.

I am downloading the full client 4.95Go, I'll tell you if it works into... WHAT!! 50min T.T

[Mac Client]

Attempted to Patch the client, downloaded, got about half way through the bar on "iPatch", then got a "some files have been modified, please reinstall" message. Now my client is stuck in the infinite loop of attempting to patch. Hitting ANY key on the keyboard (including escape) registers as a "yes, patch my client!" input...

I attempted to use the manual install, received the same error.

Errors in log are:

Examining File : /Contents/Frameworks/libgdi.dylib -> SHA1 Error
Examining File : /Contents/Frameworks/libhid.dylib -> SHA1 Error
Examining File : /Contents/Frameworks/libimm.dylib -> SHA1 Error

Just remove the patch, its causing more problems than its fixing. I can't even get in eve right now because I'm caught in a patching loop and I can't get out. I have a Mac computer and it sounds like other Mac users have found themselves in a patching loop aswell, just remove the patch so I can actualy play the game I purchased.

Tach laser sometime fire a beam not at your target then the beam moves to the target. If u one shot kill something u don't see any laser fire at all. Clients are using more gpu and at a min 100mb more memory per client even at low graphic settings.

[WINDOWS]: Before Incarna had no problems with playing EVE on either my PC or Netbook, after Incarna netbook couldnt handle it (expected, no big deal) but my pc is capable of handling it, but after installing it, ran it, splash screen, and then nothing. Retried, still nothing. Reinstalled, redownloaded, restarted, everything, still nothing, suggestions?

EDIT: OMGWTFBBQ!!!! FOUR DAMMIT ATTEMPTS TO JUST DOWNLOAD A NEW CLIENT?!! You're lucky, CCP, that I'm re-reading Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency! Now, off to redo those annoying overviews that I wish were saved on the servers for when things like this happen...

I am still receiving an abnormal amount of graphical lag whilst in the Captain's Quarters themselves (catwalk is unaffected). My laptop and desktop are both running ATI cards; a Radeon HD 3850 and Radeon Mobility HD 5470.

Perhaps there are things in the captain's quarters that need to be optimized.

Unless the problem is settings related, there is no reason to do this. Find the EVE "settings" folder (not sure where it is located on the OSX client, might be hidden) and copy it to a different location. I would recommend to make this folder part of your backup routine.
Now, once you downloaded and installed the client again, delete the settings folder EVE created, and replace it with your own. (I usually start up the client once, to make sure one is created, then close the client and delete the settings folder and replace it.)

I really wish support would make it standard practice to mention this when they tell people to delete settings to fix an issue or to reinstall the client. Because in 99% of the cases, the problem is entirely unrelated to settings and requires a client-side fix.

I am using windows

i have 2 issues to report, both happened in a fleet i was just in

first, i jumped into a system, and my abaddon showed up on my client as a cloaked harbinger

the second is that the "avoid solar system" option in the autopilot options doesnt appear to be working, i set destination, clicked on a system to avoid, and nothing happened, right clicked on it again, and there was an option to " do not avoid solar system"

Using a Mac. I opened Eve, and was told I needed to download the new build, so I did. It tells me the patch is ready for download, Eve will restart upon download. I click ok. It downloads, Eve opens up, tells me the patch is ready for download, Eve will restart. I click ok, patch installs, Eve opens, I get the same message again. I've done this a good 10 times now, I keep getting the same message and I can't play.

Post 1.0.1 patch released on the 28th June the client locks up and crashes to desktop every 5 mins. I tried running EVE Repair tool but now I get the message saying the update failed when I login. I get 5 mins gameplay before I'm booted out again.

Should be an autopatcher applying the patch not waiting for me to login then failing at 56%.

AMD Phenom Quad core 2.80GHz
8GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5570
