Minor ship balancing..

not wholesale top to bottom everything.. just take off 2% to attributes considered 8% overpowered and add 2% to things devs think might be 8% under powered.

Take tiny steps in that way until a full decision could be made...that sort of thing should be done far mroe frequently.

I would love to add some of your ideas, if it was summed up and put into a nice package, do you think you can just put some of the major issues into a response here, so that i can copy paste them to the list.

I would like to see :

Faction warfare expanded and iterated on.
Wormholes and T3 iterated on.
Incursions iterated on.
Trinity 3.0 (mass re-skinning of all ships and bringing the graphics up to date, stations etc, although in most case keeping the actual designs as they are)
Sov and the process of taking it completely overhauled into something that actually resembles a fun and worthwhile activity.
A few new ships to expand upon some classes (market purchasable and player built plz), also that ship that won the deviant art contest, been so long I cant even remember what it was called. ugh
Fixes to bugs that have been in game far too long.
UI finally made into something that reflects a sci-fi feel, not excel.

That's off the top of my head anyway. Shocked

The first post links to a much-demanded summary, with links to the more in depth/technical overviews. But basically it reforms the sovereignty system to do all the things that everyone asks for (allow/encourage more people in nullsec, modify the maintenance cost system, reform POS, rebalance risk/reward, give nullsec players more 'sand' to play with, etc). Basically, its an answer to the CSM call for a farms and fields approach to nullsec industry.

This suggestion is coming from a miner, if you don't mine or haul stuff you probably won't use this feature.

Would be nice to be able to unload your cargo to the station without having to dock. A unload cargo option when within 2500m of a station, allow us to drop whatever we like from our ships cargo hold to this temporary storage. When we do dock at that station we then move these items to our station inventory. The temporary storage would not be limited in space but would cost us isk per m3 of stuff transferred.


oh yeah and fix the bork stuff....

I see a few problems with this, and not just because it is not thought through enough. Let me expose the cracks, correction, grand canyons in your theory, first, why would I want a temp storage, doesnt that just mean ill have to move it later, secondly, why would i want to pay for storage and transferance of these materials, wouldnt that be defeating the purpose of mining the minerals in the first place when all the money would be going to pay this off, thirdly this feature is just idiotic, if you combine my first 2 points you get this, im going to warp to the station, pay money to put my stuff in temp storage, warp back, collect more minerals, warp to station, pay more money, rinse wash repeat, warp back to station, (because temp storage is in space) withdraw dock transfer undock withdraw and so on untill its all in my hangar where i will then pay more money in broker fees to sell it to pay for the cost of the storage.

Yeah I admit, I didn't go into a good enough amount of detail, lets see if I can make it a better suggestion.

Docking has now become a longer process, to reduce time, you can drop items into a stations temporary storage (similar to custom office for planets), that yes you would transfer to your inventory later; why, well accessing your inventory from space and dropping items in to a station are two different things. I didn't suggest accessing our station inventory, not of interest to me at this time.

I would like to drop ore off by warping to a station, right clicking on it and opening the storage option, drop my stuff in and warp back to mining. This whole docking and getting out of a pod to move a few items from one cargo hold to another and then undock seems like it can be streamlined.

Well yes I wouldn't want to pay all my money either, that would be dumb; I guess there doesn't have to be a charge, but I was thinking something along the like 1 or 2 isk per m3; something nominal nothing out of hand or crazy. This would be charged when moving the materials out of the temp storage to the stations inventory once you have docked.

I hope I have cleared it up and makes more sense now.

Warp to a station, right click on it, open the storage option, drop stuff in and warp out. Later on once docked, transfer items from storage for small fee to your inventory.

I wanna see T3 Frigs with modules like the T3 Cruiser just or a whole new playable race with lots of new ships sure it is hard to make something completely new when we already have shield tank race and armor tank race and so on. But still would be fun to see, Im happy with Incarna as it is now I donīt need the rest of walk in station but I would gladly have a bunch of new ships and some fixes to the old ones.

i'd like to see balance issues addressed, sisi testers listened to, botters investigated and banned faster, ships reskinned at a faster rate than 1 per year....

i'd like to see mining/FW/exploration/COSMOS reworked to make them worth doing. i'd like to see more missions added. i'd like to see more transparency from CCP. i'd like to see a CQ that doesn't melt video cards and that is completely optional from the old hangar view, actually, since it's useless fluff, remove it entirely.

frankly, i'd like to see NeX go bye-bye entirely. there's a crowdsource thread from 10/2010 where nearly 80% said no to "micro" transactions.

hey, a thought, since the people who took the time said no to microtransactions, maybe CCP figured we'd be fine with macrotransactions.
