No gold ammo: looks good on the surface, but why dont he say no non-vanity items for AUR? This worries me.

Emergency meeting with the CSM: again looks good on surface but it might just be stalling for time in an attempt to do the old divide and conquer trick.

Overall assessment: Undecided. Staying unsubbed until after the CSM meeting.

No.

No tangible results, no cease fire. Words don't create reality. Actions do.

Yes.

We were able to show our discontent with the principle of PTW MT in Eve. We have a response untertaking no game-advantage for NeX. This is the first step - we've got an extraordinary meeting of the CSM/CCP for our representatives to make this utterly plain. I advise everyone to contact their CSM reps and ensure they have all the comments you wish presented and lets wait and see what the negotiations produce.

I'd be happy to see ongoing demonstrations and forum support to the anti MT movement this week certainly to keep people's minds focused but speaking personally I feel there is now a chance of a good outcome that the CSM can deliver on behalf of the community.

Do we trust them? NO
Should we give them the comfort of easing the pressure? NO
Should we stop before we suceed? NO

This is to important to take chances on - we must keep the pressure on.

Honestly, it's probably a good idea to wait to see what happens after the CSM meeting. I was of the opinion that the CSM was just a big joke and nothing but a PR stunt for CCP, but after listening to their interview on EVE Radio the other night, I've changed my mind.

Mail bomb your CSMs!!!! Let them take all your voices to CCP in a few days and then do what you have to do if you're not satisfied with the outcome.

YES.

I agree the community should call a ceasefire as a sign of good faith by the community, and a reminder to CCP that we are in control of our actions.

We are a group, not a mob.

However, CCP should also remember we are choosing this course of action, and can choose any other course of action as is seen fit.

Unless CCP agrees to remove the NDA for the meeting, and the meeting's discussion is made available to all Eve subscribers.

it just smells like buying some time for the things to calm down. Why in hell they just wont tell the community what are they planning? Why they want to hide behind CSM?

Yes.

If by "ceasefire" you mean just playing the game and looking forward to a proper response by CCP. Which I've been doing anyway, I guess :)

If we let off the pressure, the ones responsible may think they are being let off the hook, and then we'll never get the answers.

No!

All they want is to milk the cash cow while we are "waiting and hoping".

They could have answered more then 350 pages of players rage. Nobody can trust CCP any longer.

hardly - but if the other side offers a truce to confer then its usually a good idea to accept and let them speak. That is what's happened formally now and I believe trebor has already clarified the question on "gold-ammo = other game advantages" to our satisfaction - ie, no game-changing advantage through Aurum period.

So as I voted, give them the chance to talk and win back the trust we believe they had lost. We lose nothing by being principled and open-minded at this point.
