CCP are clearly lying through their teeth as always and are stalling for time.
They will buy off CSM with promises of meaningful null changes and whatever else they need/want.

They will never change, give all your assets away and recycle your characters immediately .. like a band-aid it must be done without thinking to minimize the pain!

He is stalling for time, those decision have alredy been made and they want to force the CSM into giving them some validation like Zymurgist and his selective memory over the Cash-for-Scorpion saga.

I'm guessin' most of you saying no just don't want the festivities to end.

Lemme ask you this... what if they call your bluff?

What if they said they will be adding gold ammo.. and ships... and everything else? Riot all you want, you'll just end up leaving and CCP will keep doing their thing. Most will stay.

Ya got no leverage.

It's a simple question that takes a simple answer, why the hell do you need the CSM to go to iceland to answer a simple yes or no question ?

I don`t think it will matter what people say since CCP should have already decided what kind of business plan they are pursuing. Now personally I don`t know why they have such hard time just stating that no items that confer ingame advantages or service fees on new or improved features that should happen as normal game updates like it used to.

For example, +10 training implants for aurum, corp fitting slots for aurum, super-dramiels etc. None of them are really acceptable on a game that requires fairly hefty subscription fee.

While CCP Zulu did not clear up the issue 100%, the blog had the right intentions, let the CSM take a look at things first before we start some more protests on the server.

Let CCPs actions speak for them for now.

Simply put, yes.

All this raging when most of the points people want to make to CCP have been made are only going to raise anger, create more BS like the Sony stuff, and are going to detract from any real answers. They're played their hand, and this revolution has clearly played theirs as well. I believe patience is a virtue, isn't it?

A change in the attitude over the outrage would only be perceived as a success at what they are trying to do. They are stalling for time hoping that people will just give in.

My no is backed by my wallet, as it is with other players as well. They will stall until subs actually run out and they can see if the players are bluffing or not.

I wanted actions, not words. Flying the CSM out there for an unplanned emergency meeting constitutes this for me. I still have a lot of concerns about all this, but this is a big step in the right direction. I'm more than willing to put all of this aside and give things a chance, if the player base isn't willing to give them a chance, then the protesting was for nothing. Protesting is to bring about change, otherwise it's just quitting, and then *****ing about what you just quit, and CCP has no reason to listen to us then.

If they changed their business-plan to incorporate MT, then that is what they will do. It might not contain golden bullets or wtfbbqpwn p2w battleships immediatly, but if they comitted to the plan then all they did here is removing a moral wall.

Eventually they'll start selling more and more stuff, subtle.

All of you people saying no are ****wits.

An emergency meeting FLYING all of the CSM meetings to Iceland on short notice is going to cost them a **** ton of money. That to me says they are taking this ****ing thing seriously. Stop being raging ****tards and calm the **** down for the week. Let us see what comes of this. I still want a live stream of the CSM meeting though.

Yes! In this case a 1 week cease fire on the monument, quelling of the riot, and putting out of the burning torches is a good thing. No one says release the anger but perhaps put down the torches and pitchforks (keeping them handy) and wait and see what happens. If nothing good comes of the meeting the flames can be rekindles, riots restarted, and shooting begin again. Wars are fought in the field but ended at the negotiation table. Those that see CCP as the enemy need to realize their points will be heard much better if not drowned out by cannon and laser fire.

I'm inclined to vote for the Cease-Fire. But since I do not trust CCP anymore, it may allow them an opportunity to put in place something to prevent another uprising while they are keeping us busy "talking".

So, I vote to keep the pressure on until there's been an agreement... or not.

It's a damn shame, really, that it's come to this.

They expect a cooldown and then a sweeping under the carpet just like T20 and many other screwups. Keep up the pressure until proper DEFINITE answers come, and not just from ZulU, from higher up.

The point of the riots was to get their attention in the first place.

Guess what? We got their attention!

Now put a lid on it till the CSM thing happens, otherwise you just look like idiots.

What did u get? a promise to talk to the CSM's who haven't even talked to us? If the CSM's were doing their job we wouldn't even be rioting in the 1st place!!!

You are truly stupid sir!!!!
The CSMs DO know the issues, at least 1 was on FunkyBacon's show on EVE Radio a couple days ago stating their own dumbfounded take on all this. They also play the game (not sure after this) so it is also their money. Raging gets you an audience, that audience needs to be properly voiced.
