Heya,

So, I bought the game a month ago and (for the first time in many MMOs) re subbed after that month.

Short story: I feel like I've been made a fool of by CCP's announcements.

However, on the account page...there's nowhere to unsub. At all. I've tried looking everywhere, but I just can't find a "cancel subscription" or "terminate subscription" button; worse yet, the wiki help just shows an out-dated account management screen.

Any help would be appreciated ;)

Are you on a credit/debit card? If you were just paying with PLEXs or such you won't be able to cancel your account, you will have to just let it expire on its own. As for credit card stuff, I am not sure as I am like you used to the old page.

If you still can't find it file a billing petition.

Lets just hope that CCP didn't remove the cancel sub link and now wants to force everyone to cancel through the petition system Rolling Eyes

I could not find the cancel button on the new account interface, I had to hunt this link down.

If using a credit card(CC), then inform your card company not to accept any new, or recurring charges from CCP. Just tell your CC company that CCP has unclear unsubscribe procedures. They will understand.

My CC company has far better customer service then the customer service at CCP.

On the new account management page go to the game time dropdown at the top menu bar. Cancel Subscription is a menu option

Check my last post in this thread, http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1538072. It may be that your subscription isn't set to autopay on expiry and does not need to be cancelled.

Well i have 5 options on that pulldown, none of which are cancel.


Um Caterpiller, your post has gone into a CCP Wormhole.... sorry....

On a related note, I believe CC users have to wait until 30 days before the sub runs out to cancel. At one point I attempted to add time to an acct and still had more than 90 days and it wouldnt let me. It gave me the thought that it may work both ways

I always cancel auto billing after buying a year of gametime, and it works well, even though i have 1 year + 20 days of gametime.

Seems there was some issue with the menus on firefox, could be that some joker added the page to adblock?
