Get smart! Being unsubscribed does not mean you don't have game access whilst you have game time left on the account. Still got 3 weeks on mine.

And you fail just like all the other failquitters. Leave, or stfu. Nobody is buying it.

Some might come back, I won't if they carry on in the direct they're going, although I might not anyway since they've shown a total disregard for their customers, quite frankly CCP are a disgrace.

The issues for me is:

1) Items that give an ingame advantage.
2) Ships that don't require players to build them.
3) SP for cash/PLEX
4) Faction Rep for cash/PLEX

Those for are the game breakers of the old Eve.

All the others problems can be fixed in time.

And those 4 are why a lot are unsubscribing, they can't be fixed. Except to not include them in the first place. But CCPs attitude over this whole situation has lost them more players than they might have.

Don't get me wrong, I like it when people stand up for what they feel is right. I also voice my opinion even if it's not always what most (EVE forum) people agree with.

But considering:
a) hardly any game developer communicates with or listens to their players;
b) there's hardly a replacement for EVE even if it had AUR for ships and SP;
c) people have their friends and invested a lot of time and money in the game;

I don't see a lot of people really leave. Even if it's less perfect compared to "the old days" it's still not as bad as most other games. It's the lack of competition that will save CCP.

That's ok you're not required to believe me, that's your choice.

I think a lot will actually leave especially as CCP has acted like cads over this whole affair. Of course if they don't implement those 4 points then it might be a different story. But time will tell.

Do I count? I want them all to go - does that mean I care?

Still tons of people in amarr and Jita....

I thought they unsubbed by now....

I bet they resubbed to enjoy the protest

CCP enjoying the publicity and in the end will entice more players to the game due to a very active political mayhem.

This is actually CCP's publicity move. You all have been had

LOL. 3 pages of posts here, half of which are from people who get it. 285 pages on the 'pitch fork' thread and half again on the unsub forum. I hardly think that's "Nobody"

I also wonder what game CCP is playing. For the time being I see no none of your 4 points come true so I think not a lot of people will actually leave now. And if the time comes that it will become reality .. people will be used to the idea and they already protested.

They're probably playing some cognitive dissonance games with us.

I agree not many ppl will leave now. Tough make no mistake CCP will follow trough with the P2W stuff. If they didn't plan to they would have mentioned it in dev blog yesterday and save themselves lots extra work. I rarely play EVE now but I'm always on teamspeak with my friends. None of them has joined the protest (I did), but all of them are concerned about the P2W possibility. They might not quit about it completely, but they won't keep all their accounts active for sure (about 6 ppl with 5 to 10 accounts each).

I don't care that people are unsubbing. I like the game and will keep playing.

I just gotta ask. Has anyone here been in Jita lately? This isn't just some small forum revolt. Its spilling over ingame.

It's odd how all those OMG BIOMASS players are still logged in.

This is the thread where we keep track of the people who don't care about the current nerd-rage forum revolt.

So I hear theres 2000-3000 players canceling, or not renewing their accounts.

I think that EVE can afford to lose 1% of it's player base considering Incarna, DUST and other features coming in the future will easily attract far more than that number.

lol @ protestors

I personally do not care. In fact, I'll be adding another active account this week, so +1 sub.
