I have put 2 Medium Cargohold Op. IIs to my Mack. This gives a cargohold size of 8640m3.
Two cycles of both lasers pulls in 4 ice blocks .. 8km3 - 640m3 remains....

At the end of the second cycle, one laser deactivates with message that the storage area is overfull.

Fix this pls

It's a "feature" which will probably generate a "working as intended" response. On a more serious note how would you want it fixed? I mean would you want both lasers to continue running, or would you prefer that they both shut down? There's pros and cons either way.

Now if you want a real bug, how about how mining lasers sometimes forget to move ore to the cargo hold and result in you occasionally getting yields by the time you shut the lasers off manually that on a per laser basis exceed your ship's cargo capacity. Laughing

This is intended if you are mining ice.

If you are mining an asteroid, however, then the the cargo hold should fill as much as possible.

Any chance we could get an explanation of why ice miners function that way? I'd like to know why I had to buy a T2 cargo rig I'll never actually get full use out of just so I can hold 3 cycles worth of ice in my mackinaw without the lasers shutting off as would be the case with T1 rigs.
