Solidarity is good, but keep it civil. We won't get anything back the way it should be by raging, swearing, demanding people be fired, or spamming the forums with useless nonsense.

How much AUR to spin ships in station?

or to return the following functions:

•The ability to activate ships through drag-and-drop.
•The ability to always identify the active ship at a glance.
•The ability to always instantly access ship cargo holds through double-click.
•The ability to always instantly access ship drone bays and specialty-holds (ore, corp hangars, fuel bays) through right-click menus.
•…and, of course, everyone's favourite: ship spinning.

God you just identified alot of CCP's F&^Kup's in one paragraph

Don't be so sure about that, communities have a habit of changing overtime in the gaming world.

There's plenty of reason in between. If the receiving is not interested, fine. We show that we care(d), just to warrant we can tweet in a few months/years 'told you so'.

CEO OF CCP.

THE players actions are clear.

Thousands of Players have been SHOOTING A STUPID STATUE FOR MORE THAN 8 HOURS IN JITA RATHER THAN PLAY YOUR GAME

I hope you guys realize that by logging into the game to go shoot at the scenery, you're still playing the game. And the actions you're taking within the game really amount to nothing, because there was nothing stopping you from doing the exact same thing before.
It's like... it's like trying to protest Disney by going to Disneyland, paying the admission fee, then sitting around one of the statues and doing nothing. Okay, it's not a perfect analogy, but it's the best I could think of. Really your protest can be ignored by the vast majority of the player base. My fleet in Isikesu is completely unaffected.

You guys speak of action, but this isn't action. You have to take action as a player, not as a character. And your actions as a player are limited to leaving or writing the company.

Show your solidarity players of EVE I shall be doing so, I've been here nearly 6 years on and off, I love this game and this community, I will not be speaking by shooting a statue and lagging out systems although that is to be commended I will instead be cancelling my subscription until a suitable resolution is found.

Much love people.

*sigh* Blood... I'm wondering how I'd put this in to words, and I'm not sure how. Well, it's apparent I don't know you that well, but still, I thought you'd be a bit above this lynchmob mentality. Because that's what is going on now, this has gone well beyond some mere "let's show CCP what's important to us" to outright vandalism.

Hi Teinhyr, long time no see. Don't make this personal.

Vandalism of what?

It's not lynchmob mentality. CCP has literally shut off any response to the Community. They had plenty of time to answer some simple questions. We were asked to be patient, and we were, and then they outright say non-sense as a rseponse.

Assume you were wearing a pair of $1000 jeans for a moment...

Ok, you don't see vandalism in? -Disrupting gameplay for those who want to play. -Trying to bring down nodes; it's well known that Jita is the only tradehub with dedicated extra-oomph, deciding to overpopulate Amarr, Rens and Dodixie was pretty clearly an attempt to crash known tradehubs (try to sugarcoat this all you want, that was the intent), and as you may well know, that is against the EULA.

CCP will give a response when they're ready, not the very moment people want it RIGHT NAO, that is basic corporate culture right there - have you seen any other MMO community reps answering faster than in a few days at the very least? The whole RealID thing took a couple of weeks IIRC for Blizzard to release a statement that they will scrap the idea (for the time being). CCP has given a few responses already, and I've found them fairly reasonable, while no, they haven't yet outright said "no we will not do this ever" they pretty clearly do state that there are no plans at this time for adding anything but vanity items to NEX. I could quote those parts here, but I trust you have enough reading comprehension to see them yourself, without me needing to point them out for you.

I find it a lynchmob mentality in the sense that people are out for blood, they want heads to roll. Figuratively speaking, of course. Well, I hope it is figuratively speaking, since I've seen a few death threats aimed at CCP employees already. It is also a lynchmob in the sense that there are people inciting other people to harass CCP as much as they can. I wouldn't be amazed if there'd be DDoS attack sometime soon too, which no doubt will be blamed on CCP anyway by some conspiracy theorist. And i double-****ing dare you to say many people aren't just going with the flow, perhaps you've heard a phrase similar to "stupidity condensing in crowds."

If their only goal was to bring down the node then it would have ended more than 24 hours ago when Jita peaked at 2150 people and then started to decline. They've been going at it with other intentions.

0.0 Alliances have literally brought down nodes intentionally and no consequence was given to them. But some players that care about the game choose to have a voice and light up a statue doesn't make them bad people.

CCP has answered and responded to community concerns much faster than this. They are directly ignoring a question, and it's not just the players that have noticed, also media outlets.

They haven't stated it since the developments of June 21st.

People also get made into hero's. It's human nature. You can't take the human out of someone. These are the same challenges that have been faced before by many other groups and organizations in history. Not the first time a protest has happened. The way that CCP is choosing to deal with it is their responsibility.

Tein, I respect your view, just some friendly conversation here. I think the people that see what people are trying to do are blowing it out of proportion. This is a sandbox in the end.

Justify me the question, How does selling 52 Monocles justify cutting off communication from your clients?

“A riot is the language of the unheard.”
~Martin Luther King Jr.

“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.”

“To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.”

“When an individual is protesting society's refusal to acknowledge his dignity as a human being, his very act of protest confers dignity on him.”
